"A great resort"

Check in experience is the best via their app. I went straight to my room. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was a drop annoying that just about every single time I sat at a table game someone walked over and upped the min bet. Sadly it was cold so didn't get to experience the pool which looked great from my room

Check the rooms before you settle in. My room was dirty. The comforter had black scuff marks. And the shower had the previous renters hair on the floor. Staff will do what they are supposed to do, but not much friendliness or caring behind them.

It was a terrible experience. The bed was too soft, the food was bland and lacked any flavor, and the gym facilities were extremely limited. I ended up sleeping on the floor for three days because they couldn’t change my room or provide a better mattress. This was the worst business trip I’ve ever had, and I left the hotel with severe back pain.

"Nice but noisy!"

Mandalay Bay is perfectly located for visits to the Allegiant Stadium but a little further out from the main part of the strip - though you can get the free tram to Excalibur, which is really close to the T mobile Arena and then not too much of a walk to the rest of the strip. You can also get the Deuce right outside all the way along the strip to Fremont Street The rooms are nicely decorated and housekeeping made sure we had clean towels etc every day. There is a great selection of bars and restaurants in the hotel if you don’t fancy venturing out - though Vegas has so much to offer! Our main issue was that the walls of the rooms are paper thin. Our first night was ok but our neighbours on the second night came home really drunk at 4;30am and argued really loudly for ages. It then got worse as they ‘made up’ REALLY loudly before arguing and making up again until about 7am when we gave up and went for an early breakfast. The same thing happened the following night - even with ear plugs we were woken up and kept awake by their noise. Our neighbours on the 4th night were much more quiet, but you can still hear the TV and other noise. If the rooms were better insulated I’d be giving the Mandalay Bay at least 4 stars, but sadly the lack of sleep took its toll!

Had a strange noise coming from the bathroom sink, that I needed to close the drain to make it tolerable Also the light from the neighboring room came through under the door. I used pillows to cover the space. I didn’t like that the door to the toilet always closed it self, so I put a trash can in front of the door to keep it open. Also, the TV has a very lousy picture quality
