Legacy Vacation Resorts Orlando in Kissimmee, FL

If I could give a less than 1, I probably would and REMIND myself it pays to pay! 1st red flag was at check in - there was an unhappy family at the check in desk getting changed to a different room. 2nd red flag, the cracked window being held together with tape (the view out to the pool). We booked a mini suite and online the photos looked nice and inviting. Well....what a difference between the photos and the actual mini suite. Upon opening the front door, the door smacked into the door frame of the bathroom - so the view from the front door was the toilet! Yikes. the hallway was very narrow - so two people walking through it could not fit at the same time. To the immediate left of the front door was the bedroom and an adjoining door to the next "suite" - the door was not aligned very well and we could hear and see right through the side into the next suite's kitchen. ZERO privacy for the folks next to us and, of course, we could hear all conversations, farts, etc. Next, the bedroom - two beds, a dresser, small closet and a window (facing the parking lot that is lit all through the night). The weather happened to be cold and we set the thermostat to keep the room/suite comfortable. Well, here we go...every time the furnace cycled on, it sounded like a freight train was coming through - why??? BECAUSE the furnace was located inside the bedroom and the heat register right above it facing the beds. No sleep to be had in the bedroom unless you wanted to freeze. So, onward, to the right of the front door was the kitchenette, couch, dresser and TV. Kind of ok for what we were dealing with - EXCEPT for the haunted TV...the electrical receptacle on the wall next to the TV seemed to have an issue wherein every time we plugged into it, the TV would shut off. Oh Boy!!! Next is the bathroom - the combination bath tub/shower - we needed a trampoline to get into the tub and then worry about getting out without risking serious injury. Almost the LAST complaint, I promise - not a single piece of artwork on any of the walls, making this mini suite one of the most sad and dreary places to stay. SO, if you want instant depression near the happiest place on earth - stay here. Ok, the LAST complaint - I accidently left behind a puffy vest and realized it after we left but were not too far away. I immediately called the front desk and they refused to have staff take a look in the room for the item and instead referred me to the "Lost and Found" on their website and told me to file a claim. WHAT?!!! Wouldn't a quick look be more efficient and friendly? WHY, OF COURSE NOT. I filed the claim, my item was found, then I had to pay $30 for them to send my item. HOWEVER, today is February 15th - nearly a month after the item was found, I called numerous times and heard crap for excuses as to why my item had been delayed in being taken to the post office. I finally received my item - seems like courtesy is no longer a priority at this resort (using the description of resort in the name is a HUGE stretch). So, end of my rant - spend the money to stay somewhere that deserves your hard earned money. Seems like the 'BAIT AND SWITCH" game here. Buyer Beware!

We accidentally found this resort last year and we’ve made it or winter home now. It’s beautiful vacation homey friendly feel that the grounds and staff give is just what we were looking for. Not 100% up to date on their furniture but as long as it’s clean, that’s okay with us (affordable) We love it at Legacy!!

Amazing place to stay. Affordable and close to all dining and shopping places. Staff, service crew are very approachable. We were able to enjoy our stay. Cold place, complete amenities, lots of freebies. will definitely come back for another stay.

The 2 bedroom 2 bath condo was a little outdated but was nice. We stayed for 8 days 7 nights and didn't have any issues other than traffic getting out of condo. Very spacious and had washer and dryer in unit. We had plenty of room for 2 small kids and 3 adults.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at Legacy Vacation Resort. Every time I visit, the check-in process is a nightmare. The staff is consistently unprofessional and rude, showing no concern for guest experience. Once again, my room was not ready upon arrival, and instead of an apology or an attempt to make things right, the staff was dismissive and unconcerned. This seems to be a recurring issue at this resort, and the lack of customer service is unacceptable. I will not be returning and do not recommend this resort to anyone looking for a stress-free vacation
