Our family went to Marco Island for Christmas and wanted to take family pictures. Macarena was an excellent photographer. Highly recommend her. We love our photos, she was soo professional and knew what to do. Thumbs up to JW Marriott & macarena

My husband and I spent Thanksgiving week at the JW Marco Island for a "babymoon" and it was excellent! We stayed in the 21+ Sirene tower, which I highly recommend if you are traveling without children. We both agreed that we would happily make this an annual visit. Food/Drink: -The Sirene package included a really nice breakfast buffet (lots of pastry, fruit, yogurts, hot eggs cooked to order (but not omelets), sausage, oatmeal, etc.) that went from 7a to 11a and never more than 5-6 other tables occupied. -Other meals varied in price and quality - we LOVED Kanes, but found Quinns, the arcade bar, and Tesoro just ok. -The Thanksgiving buffet was top notch, though we definitely had trouble eating enough to justify the price. -Since I'm expecting, we didn't test out the drink selection but I appreciated that most of the restaurants had non-alcoholic beer, and I was able to get virgin frozen drinks. Activities: -The Sirene tower has a private rooftop pool and beach seating area that are capacity capped to ensure you don't have to reserve pool chairs. We were able to get free sunscreen, aloe, and bags for shelling on the beach! It was a huge win considering there was a line by the other pools at 8am to get chairs. -The shells on the beach are awesome!! My husband and I spent at least an hour wading and shelling even though the water was cold. We brought home some beautiful souvenirs - would be so much fun with kids!! Other: -We signed up for the complementary photo session through the hotel in order to get some maternity/Christmas card photos. I figured we would get a few nice ones, but Chris with Photography Concierge was INCREDIBLE. Despite being only a ~45 minute session, he got shots that were better than our wedding photos. I was blown away. The packages are pricey but completely worth it for the quality.
