"Fantastic Stay"

One of our most enjoyable stays anywhere. The staff was extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. William at the bar was amazing. We had a few great talks with him while he served us. The food was fantastic. The function we attended was made even better by the staff. Great experience.

"Surprise Amenity Fee at Checkin"

Room and staff were great but... Upon checkin I was notified of an "Amenity fee" of an extra $25 + HST per night. A total of $110.74 in taxes and fees per night on top of room rate! Things like: o Restaurant discount - Most guests will not use this o 24/7 health club access - Most guests do not use this. If they do then make it user pays rather than everyone pays o Free high-speed internet - Most hotels, even mom & pop motels have had free internet for the last decade or so. I also have free internet with my IHG Rewards o Free local calls - Every hotel/motel that I am aware of in North America has had free local calling since the 1970's o 2 bottles of water upon arrival - Nice touch. Many hotels do this for free. Cost less than $1 total per guest, many don't use them o Access to Press Reader - I expect most guests do not use o 20% Discount on laundry - most guests do not use o 5% off spa treatments - most guests don't use So on a 2 night stay I paid $56.50 for 2 small bottles of water!!! Not happy about it.

I always stay at the Intercontinental when I come to Toronto. The staff are always very nice and helpful. The room are super clean and include nespresso machine so we can have amazing coffee. Plus the pool and jacuzzi area is perfect to relax after a work day.👌 A big thank you to Ardiz and Paul who were the kindest on my recent stay

I stay in hotels quite often with my job. I can honestly say that this was the best hotel stay I have ever had. The attention to detail by the staff is unbelievable, from the signature scent of the hotel, including the scents in the shampoo, hand soap and lotion, right down to the staff calling me by name when they saw me. I was on the club floor, and had access to the breakfast. There was a huge selection of foods that were well prepared and provided a satisfying option as opposed to the simple breakfasts or no breakfast that are offered by other hotels. The beds were extremely comfortable, and if I could have packed the shower up and brought it home with me, I would have. I unfortunately lost the card of the woman who checked me in, but her customer service skills were amazing. Awesome job, InterContinental!

It was a wonderful and pleasant experience. My Family and I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We had the pleasure of meeting Malak who works at the lounge she made our stay very welcoming. Malak is very kind, warm and accommodating. She is very special, there should be more people like her.
