"Hotel a bit worn"

Hotel OK -- a bit worn everywhere. Guess that should be expected being so close to an amusement park and a university. Hotel staff was great and responsive with needs -- brought new sheets within 10 minutes of asking and new towels made available immediately at the front desk.

Staff is very attentive. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Very close to Moffitt Cancer Center. Short drive or walk to lots of things. Plenty of restaurants around, we certainly enjoyed Yuengling!! Delish! Whether for work, vacation or other travel...Hyatt won't disappoint!

"🚫 Extremely Disappointed with Hyatt Place Tampa Busch Gardens Parking Fees 🚫"

I recently stayed here, and honestly, I’m SHOCKED by the excessive parking charges! 💸 They charge $12 per day for parking, PLUS they add a service fee and sales tax, which totals almost $27 for two days! 🤯 It’s honestly ridiculous considering the quality of the parking lot. The lot is dimly lit 🌑 and, to my dismay, I saw broken glass on the ground when I parked, which made me feel very uneasy about the security. 😬 In the morning, I even noticed a police vehicle 🚔 on site, asking questions to the hotel staff. Turns out, a car was stolen! Imagine paying for parking that doesn’t even feel safe. They flood the place with signs to make sure you pay, but they don’t invest in making it secure or well-maintained. Also, I waited for the shuttle 🚌 that was supposed to leave at 10 am, and it never showed up! Later, I found out it arrived late, but by that time, I had already given up and left. The lack of organization just adds to the frustration. 😤 The rooms look nice, but honestly, these parking fees and the lack of basic security leave a bad taste. It feels like they’re more focused on squeezing every dollar 💰 out of guests than providing a safe, comfortable experience. In summary, if you’re planning on staying here, be prepared to pay for overpriced, subpar parking with questionable security. I wish they would drop the parking fee so guests could actually relax and enjoy their stay. 🚫👎

"Lovely experience"

I had a great experience. The room was amazing, the couch was comfortable they had a coffee maker, microwave and a small refrigerator. The bed and pillows were so soft and so comfortable! And the bath towels were thick and soft. I specifically enjoyed the breakfast and the fact that you could make your own waffles and they even had turkey patties. Which I have rarely found in any other hotel that I have frequented.

Comapred to other Hyatt Place this is below average. Elevator was balky and inside the elevator was non-compliant with state law as it was no identifier for the elevator or phone number to call. The fire escape information on floor 3 belong on floor one.
