"Gauged for the parking"

Attended a retreat at the location where, as part of the retreat price and they issued us validation, so I paid for parking as part of the retreat price. Decided to do a staycation and spend the night. The desk clerk saw my validation, took it and when I asked him why, he said you have to pay for parking again as an overnight guest. So my car never moved and Maya charged me to park during the retreat 9-5:30 and charged me another $40 for the car from 5:30-11:00 at check out. Make that make sense to pay twice to park a car on the property. They literally said that’s how we make our money. Just saying, they are not state of the art, no kitchenette, nothing to write home about. There are lots of choices that have a view of the water.

"Ok for a one night pre cruise stay. Staff all very friendly. "

We stayed here as a pre cruise hotel. The rooms, or certainly our room was tired looking and the furniture showing signs of wear, also despite lamps in the room it always seemed dark. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and with a bit of investment and updating it could be a nice hotel. The onsite restaurant was fully booked when we arrived, and in room dining very limited and not overly appealing unfortunately. We'd had a long flight and been awake for hours, so we had an uber eats McDonald's and went to sleep. The hotel does have a good location, and you can easily walk to the Queen Mary and walk into town to get food, which is what we did. Bed was comfy and shower although dated and being in the bath with a shower curtain, provided good pressure and hot water. Would I stay again? Probably not unless it was updated, but it was ok for somewhere to sleep that's close to the cruise port.

"Great Location and views BUT ....."
TripAdvisor user rating 3.0 out of 5

We stayed the weekend to attend an event at the Queen Mary . The room was comfortable, the view was great and the food in Fuego very good . Service by the restaurant staff was excellent . BUT the hotel is not clean by any means. The restaurant lights were very dirty, the floor was also very dirty and the furniture was beyond warn . It needs a total cleaning ceiling to floor and windows. The room was not any better. The floor was beyond dusty and the furniture very worn and some of it broken. The elevator floor was full of crumbs or something the entire time we were there. I have never seen a hotel this dirty , and a Hilton besides. It was a lovely place but will not go back under these conditions. AND very loud until after 1 am .

Daisy at our check in was amazing and made our stay the best anniversary and New Year Day vacation. The room was like a little piece of heaven for our week stay. This place gives a paradise feel from the staff at the front desk, the room set up to the balcony view of the Ocean Pacific to the view of Queen Mary!

"Great views without the superior customer service."

Extremely disappointed with the service. Late checkout not observed. Was called numerous times that an extra night would be charged. It would appear members with status mean nothing. Did not feel valued as a Hilton Honors Member. Maybe might try again.
