Hotel Lexen Newhall & Santa Clarita - Near Six Flags Magic Mountain

Lexen felt very clean, and had a nice gym. The staff was friendly, and I slept well. I’ll stay there again in the future!

I’ve stayed at the Lexen a few times in different types of rooms and have always found them to be so cute and comfortable. So much thought was put into adding whatever possible to help add to the environment - white noise machine bedside, thematic decor, a Bluetooth charging lamp, and continental breakfast. The staff has always been very welcoming and kind. I will absolutely make this my hotel for future stays in the area.

We had an amazing stay even for just 1 night. The room is clean, everything is neat and modern with a feel of rustic. It feels cozy. The staff was also very nice to us and helped us with our questions and for that we are very thankful. The breakfast was simple but great and enough to fill us up. Also another this that we appreciate is there's water dispenser in the lobby and a coffee/juice dispenser available for guests. We will definitely go back.

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teenagers) booked the Penthouse Suite for 5 days of Halloween Horror Nights, Universal VIP, and Six Flags Fright Fest experiences. We also took in some downtown Newhall. The Penthouse Suite was nothing less than fabulous. Saying I'm particular about cleanliness would be an understatement...things must be clean. And when they are not, our family cleans the room after checking in if it's not (yep, we really do). In this case, nothing to clean. Our room was spotless and we didn't get to use any of the Lysol wipes we brought on counters, light switches, or bathrooms. Yay! Also, the Penthouse in Lexen Newhall is the entire 3rd floor. Elevator up, only one room to enter and that's yours. It has 3 bedrooms total, each with their own en suite full bathroom, and one of those bedrooms has two beds (so 4 beds total). It also has a full sized kitchen with utensils, glasses, motion-activated garbage, etc. And it has a huge living room with couches, benches, a full dining table, and TV. It rocked, simply the largest hotel room we have every stayed in. I didn't measure it, but I would guess somewhere around 2,000 square feet. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Basic breakfast with pastries, coffee/juice, and microwaveable breakfast burritos. But, that's all we needed on the way out the door each day and we were grateful for it. Now, the downside for us. The EV charging on site did not work. We spent a combined time of 2 hours trying to remedy this, as we have only driven EVs since 2014. In the many, many trips we've taken to Cali over the years, this was the only time we experienced an EV charger not working at any hotel we stayed at. The company who oversaw it (Loop?) blamed the hotel, the hotel said it's Loop's problem. You know who lost out regardless of fault?...the guest. Lexen, you have an awesome hotel, truly one of the best we've stayed at from all our trips around the world. Don't cheap out on your EV option. It's so basic, standard, and expected these days...and is only going to become more of a thorn for you. It's a big deal for EV drivers to be able to charge up each night so we can leave each day with 300 miles of range to explore your great state. It saves us time and we appreciate it. We can't rely on that, it takes time away from our vacation that we save, plan, and wait once a year to take. Figure this piece out.

I had booked the wrong hotel at first. I was concerned about how much I would be spending that night. It was my and my husband's wedding night. The front desk was so understanding and gave us a discount on our stay. I appreciated that. It was a great night.
