"Great location, but the hotel needs some work"

On the positive side, the hotel is in a great location and is in the process of what looks like a great renovation. The art deco style restaurant looks great and the lobby has great historical features. The room we had was very spacious and the decor was nice. On the less positive side, there is an active renovation underway. Work started at 7:30am, and was loud. The hotel also appears understaffed. When we arrived, I had questions about the room and the front desk agent was very rushed. We called down to the front desk when the room didn’t have bedding we needed and the AC wasn’t working. No one answered. We texted the line a QR code in the room told us to text. No one responded. We went down to the front desk twice before we got bedding. The AC was never addressed. The bed in the room had a significant and visible sag in the middle and wasn’t very comfortable. Overall, this is probably fine for a one night stay if you get a great deal and you keep expectations low. Otherwise, maybe it will improve in the future when the renovation is complete.

"Perfect getaway"

My wife and I just got married and wanted to get away for the weekend. We were so happy that we picked Hotel Flor. The hotel is updated but still had the historic look of the early 1900s. Checking in was very smooth and felt welcomed as soon as we walked in. Once we arrived on Friday our truck was parked til Sunday. The free shuttle was great. From one Ryan to the shuttle Ryan, Thanks! Ryan the shuttle driver was great. He took us everywhere we wanted to go within a 3 mile radius. If not familiar with the area just ask Ryan where to eat or go have drinks. Once you’re in the van Ryan makes you feel like you’ve known him for years. We will be coming back very soon with the kids to go to another Lightning game.

"Terrible"

Do. Not. Stay. Here. Obviously historic hotel bla bla bla but they should not be hosting anyone until they are DONE w renovations. They charge a “location” fee because it’s not a resort so no resort fee there, and the location is a run down near homeless and abandoned buildings w views to nothing. Trying with the decor and room lacked enough coffee. Valet $40 is on a dusty lot, no one to grab bags, scaffolding everywhere… so charging extra $100 for what should be a $100 a night hotel. And the checkout lady was not very polite.

"An enjoyable leisure downtown experience"

Thank you Ryan and Alana for taking care of us with the shuttle services and the complimentary Gold upgrade to a suite it was much appreciated! I can't wait to see the hotel when the restoration is complete. I look forward to staying again at this Tapestry in the downtown area.

"New Year Wedding"

We were at the Hotel for a wedding and it was a wonderful experience. The interior is beautiful and wonderfully decorated for the holidays. The rooms are spacious. There were also fun quirks like an old mail slot being used for key returns to drop from any floor. The hotel also provides a shuttle for guests for trips within 3 miles which was great! Mikesha C. was super helpful.
