This is by far the worst Hilton Hotel I have ever stayed in. It really is not fit to have the Hilton name. I am a Hilton Honors member and I always do my best to stay at a Hilton property when I travel all over the world. But his hotel was truly a zero. The outside is being renovated so it was unkempt the inside is really old they said it is an 88 year old. At check-in the person at the desk had a poor command of the English language so he was difficult to understand. This is a very long list so I will bullet point it: 1. There was no hot water in the hotel to take a shower. The Front desk sent someone up but he spoke no English and hand signaled to leave the water on in the sink and the tub till you got hot water and shrugged his shoulders. Mind you we already had the water on in both areas for 15 minutes and could not believe that anyone would waste so much water. This was just not our room either! Apparently this is a hotel problem that has been a long term problem. This is well known by hotel personnel, such as desk clerk, house keeping and van driver who all said they are aware of this problem. There was a wedding at the hotel this weekend and I overheard guests stating they needed hot water to shower. ARGH! Was told by hotel staff that Hilton decided to take care of what you see before taking care of all of the old pipes and electric in the building. 2. No room service. If you are looking for towels, water, coffee or food forget it this hotel has nothing. 3. No Concierge service. 4. No bellman to assist with luggage or taxi assistance forget it. If you need assistance with getting a taxi or your luggage do it yourself. This is a no Frills hotel! 5. One restaurant in this hotel, Dan's poor food, cold food and poor service because there is only one waiter to serve everyone. 6. No special amenities for Hilton Honors members such as an executive suite or water .... or anything. 7. One elevator most of the weekend in operation. Three elevators but usually only one was operational. 8. Desk service poor. 9. Room phones flashed with a message on it and when I called the front desk I was told the phones don't work so I should ignore it. What? 10. No extra pillows, blankets, or towels in the room. The room was very cold could have used an extra blanket. Never noticed maid service in the hallways. 11. Broken ironing board in the room. 12.No coffee in the room. 13. On our last night at the hotel there was a cleaning lady in the hallway that was putting something away in the closet and she overheard me say what I I thought of the hotel, which was a negative remark and she turned around and laughed and said she has heard this before. So I am posting this for all of the unsuspecting guests that may want to book this hotel and assume that they are getting Hilton quality when the are really going to get a low budget motel at best. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BOOK THE REAL DOWNTOWN HILTON ABOUT 5 BLOCKS AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!

I was pleasantly surprised withb the great ambience at the hotel My room was large and plenty of room with a loveseat. Staff was very accomadating, especially front desk agent Isaiah, he was very helpful. I used the bicycles which was very enjoyable.

We’ve had the most wonderful experience out Hotel Flor I will try downtown Tampa. We cannot believe how hospitable they were as soon as we walked in the door. Carmen and Isaiah showed us around the neighborhood on a map and took a lot of extra time to explain the different neighborhoods that we should visit. They offered to help us with our luggage as I am seven months pregnant. The rooms here are beautiful, and the amenities are very comfortable. They also took the time to upgrade us because we are diamond members and it’s our baby moon. Perhaps the biggest part of this hotel is the free shuttle service within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. It is truly remarkable because Ubers are actually not cheap in Tampa. Not only were we impressed with the fact that the service is offered, but when ryan pulled up, he saw that I was pregnant and got out of the car immediately to help me inside. He was extremely friendly and kind and told us about the city, offering us recommendations and telling us about local offerings. He got us to our destination quickly and efficiently and offered to pick us up later. You cannot find service like this anywhere else. Ryan, you rock! Thank you for being so hospitable and kind to us!
