Amazing hotel in a great location. The bedding is plush and comfortable for a good night's rest. The proximity of the hotel to the airport and other amenities such as restaurants and the highway is always a plus. It was a different kind of experience being at this Holiday Inn due to being in heart of town.

We called the hotel for pickup at the airport and waited forty minutes and no shuttle. Called the hotel and no one answered the phones. We ended up taken a uber to the hotel. At check in we explained the situation about the shuttle and the desk agent said they were having problems today. Offered us a drink and snack off the market and said that was all he could do. The room was clean but ac is very loud. The next day we left out for the day and returned around 8pm only to find out our room was not cleaned. We called housekeeping and no answer. We called front desk no answer. Went downstairs and explained that we did not receive any housekeeping and could we get towels. He gave us towels. No apology! I asked do you not service rooms ? He stated because it was a very busy checkin day they did not have enough housekeepers to clean the rooms. Seriously that is not a good enough reason for me. We got no heads up about this at checkin. I would not stay here again due to how unprofessional the staff and management are about taking care of their guests. I travel a lot and have never encountered this type of service. As an IHG member I would have expected more towards a loyal IHG guest. This is not the way to treat your guests ! Every guest should be treated the same in this case this hotel only catered to the new guests checking in and did not care for the guests that stayed over and already paid. Shame on you

We stayed a night before our cruise and had plans to spend 2 nights after our cruise to relax. After our first night prior we cancelled our 2 night stay. I will start with the positive first. The front desk was very kind, let us check in early smiling and friendly. The room was nice and bed was comfortable. 1 out of 3 elevators worked. The area we had a problem was the amenities. We picked this hotel because it had a “restaurant and bar” with an outdoor patio. It was a joke, we could not even get service for dinner, standing there for over 15 minutes and could not get anyone to seat us or speak to us, we finally got the attention of the bar tender when she put her phone down with 2 other staff members.We asked if they did drink service on the patio. Mind you the patio was right outside of the bar . We were rudely told “ no, and if you order from the bar you’ll be drinking out of plastic cups “ honestly we were not bothered by the plastic cups it was how rude the staff answered. We were obviously bothering her. So we payed and drank our 1 beer on the patio walked back into the restaurant for dinner and there was now no one at the bar or the restaurant area and with no service, we waited for someone to seat us and finally left. Then the next day we went to purchase breakfast at 10:10 am we sat there for 20 min and finally were told “ sorry no breakfast service” they stopped service at 10:00 am, the sign said 10:30 am and when we asked about the time, we were told “ well the time was changed today to 10:00 am “ so evidently they make their own schedule. I have been an IHG member for over 20 years and this was the rudest customer service I have ever come across at a Holiday Inn. Also as for the pool there was 5 chairs for the whole pool and the hot tub was out of order , this should have been on their website. The pool area is pretty sparse and not inviting like the photos show on their website. The bar and restaurant looks like a cafeteria, the one reason we stayed here was the one reason why we cancelled the next 2 days. Take a Lyft and go to “Shells” it’s about a mile away they have great food and cold beers “ served in a plastic cup” but served with a smile. I know the hurricanes have damaged a lot of the hotels in the area so we chalked the pool area to that but it was extremely disappointing. As for the restaurant they need to rethink their staff, put your phones down and pay attention! We were a party of 4 that do not mind spending money on food and drinks and we left to spend our money someplace else not once but twice.

We had to make last minute changes due to hurricane Helene! The entire staff worked really hard to make sure things flowed since they were much busier than anticipated. Shout out to Yuni at the front desk !! Very helpful all the way around! Staff was all friendly and rooms were clean. If you are looking for an airport hotel I highly recommend

This hotel was pretty good. It ticked most boxes for me away on a trip and I found it reasonably comfortable and Wi-Fi was good too. Restaurants in the area are ok. Not the best onsite but fine. A short drive or bus ride away there are some good options. The room was decent and comfortable. It was a good stay. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again.
