Holiday Inn & Suites Across From Universal Orlando offers complimentary WiFi throughout the property's public spaces as well as in guest rooms. A 24-hour business center with wireless printing, copying, and faxing is available. With a 24-hour fitness center, it is easy to relax and unwind while keeping your fitness routine in check. Other amenities include a Splash Zone Pool for kids and an outdoor pool with lounge chairs and umbrellas.

The hotel provides a free scheduled shuttle service to Universal Orlando Resort if you prefer the shuttle rather than the walk. Shuttle services and transportation to other Orlando area attractions are available for a fee and can be arranged at the hotel's concierge desk.

Dining is easy as TGI Fridays on-site is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A Kids' eat-free program for registered hotel guests is available. The Kids Eat Free offer is limited to up to four (4) children per dining family, per meal OR up to two (2) children per parent, per meal. *The Kids Eat Free offer is not available for room service* or with room rates negotiated for groups of 10 or more rooms, travel industry rates, corporate rates or employee rates. By far the worst checkin experience I have ever had, the lobby was filled with people who were told to wait to checkin even though the rooms were ready. Constant solicitation and forcing a line that was 16 parties deep because they wanted to wait to check everyone in after 4. I will never stay at a holiday inn ever again because of this experience.

This place is awful! Roaches in the rooms, blood stains on the shower curtains, and the whole floor was without water for the night. The ice maker didn’t work and the microwave is in the lobby gift shop. We requested towels and wash cloths to be put in the rooms but never had it fulfilled. I have stayed at many places, but this was definitely not up to standards.

Hotel was overflow for a conference. After reading the negative reviews I was prepared for a horrible experience. While not great, my four night stay was tolerable. The room did not smell, did not have bugs, did have plenty of hot water & great water pressure. The bed was a dream. I slept soundly every night (I did wear ear plugs per my usual hotel routine). The bed was super comfy and the a/c icy. However, the carpet was gross. All of the surfaces have seen better days. Obvious this hotel has endured significant wear and tear and could use a major makeover. It’s the little things that I’m thankful I anticipated. Brought my own travel blow dryer, none in the room. Brought my own K-cups and creamer. Brought slippers. Wish I had the ability to buy some breakfast food. It’s a restaurant desert if you don’t have a car. Overpriced breakfast buffet in the TGIF attached. The restaurant appeared unappealing so I never ate there. There are no restaurants close by. A 25 - 30 minute walk gets you to Universal Citywalk or the (fabulous) outlet mall. No time for that. I opted for Uber to get to dinner, typically $6 to $9 one way not including tip. There is a Walgreens about 15 min walk away. Would I have stayed here by choice? No. But it was a work trip and I was super busy so I only enjoyed the good nights sleep and hot shower. There was nothing else.

You would think because it’s a budget friendly hotel that it might not be nice, but this hotel was perfect. Our room was clean and within walking distance to Universal Studios. The staff was very nice and helpful. This hotel is connected to TGI Fridays.
