"The lifts"

The room was okay but the Lifts were poor it’s a 25 floor hotel and it’s only got 2 lifts when we were trying to check out my family and I were stood for 20 minutes waiting for a lift and everyone went past and the we had to keep re pressing the button, when we finally got on there was 2 maids pressing the closed door button so it wouldn’t stop at any floors, it’s a shame because it’s a nice hotel it really ruined the experience.

"Good but could be great"

We arrived after a cancelled flight the day before and the lady at desk stated they weren’t informed but was able to squeeze us in , the hotel was in a quiet and less busy part of New York but great base to use, the lifts were small but were not really an issue, the breakfast was ok and free coffee was nice enough, the only issue was hairdryer wasn’t working and despite mentioning a few times this was never replaced, the coffee pod machine is really no good, should be a kettle, other than that the bed was super comfy and cleaning was good, it’s a cheaper hotel option for a reason but I would book again , one note though .. please train your staff in customer service as I am from this background in training and I wasn’t put off as I see it every day but this would change the attitude of most of your customers visiting.

Excellent service Excellent room comfy beds only down side is can hear all outside rooms but get used to ignoring after a couple of nights had an amazing 11 night stay and destiny was a true treasure to the hotel and we got engaged during our stay 😀

"Unfriend front desk guy and impatient house keeping lady! Horrible customer service!"

This hotel deserves No star. The front desk guy Alex is unfriendly. He should not be working in hospitality industry. I went down in the morning to ask if it is ok to check out at 2 pm as I was only granted 1 pm check out when I checked in the day before. The check in lady told me to do so. But Alex told me he only can give me 12:30pm, and I have to pay $$ for 2 pm check out. When I walked by, I saw him looking askance at me! The housekeeper lady on the 10th floor knocked the door first time when I told her I have a late check out at 1 pm. She came back at 12pm and knocked door. I informed her I would check out at 1 pm . She shows impatient expression on her face right in front of me. I just packed and left the hotel as soon as possible! Will not come back to this hotel!

"Basic. Clean. ELEVATORS A MAJOR PROBLEM."

Simple, basic. Generally clean. Good water pressure, hot. Bed somewhat comfy. Good TV, some clothes hanging space, a safe, a crappy keurig. Tiny room and bathroom. MAJOR PROBLEM: ELEVATORS. 1 of 2 (small) elevators was out of order for 3 of the 7 days of my stay on the 20th floor. Even when there were 2 working elevators, there were long wait times as well as rides often packed with other people. When 1 elevator was working, EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT. Check out day, I had to walk down 20 flights with suitcase.
