Justin, Abe, Theresa Fisher and the dear older restaurant helper were all so helpful, kind and welcoming. The location of the hotel was great. We could get around easily. The room was comfortable and clean. It was not difficult to get clean towels or empty trash cans.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel is in need of a total remodel. Lobby is tired looking with furniture that is very worn Actual breakfast area is clean due to staff, but some of the leather-like booth seating is old and shows some tears on the seams. Some of the upholstered dining chairs show wear and tear and show grease spots etc. I’m sure the staff has tried to clean the chair—they just need to b replaced. Our room was “clean” in terms of what housekeeping could do, but the carpet was worn and dirty—just needs to be replaced. The dirty carpet made the room smelly. Bathroom was clean, but there were some cracked tiles—it was very dated. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

This is a nice hotel and part of IHG Hotel Group. It's a great location on Bay Street and is close to the Riverwalk, resturants, shopping and the squares. It was clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good. Nice rooftop area with swimming pool and 🔥 tub. Get a high floor room with a river view if you can. We were on the top floor. The only problem was getting our room cleaned and I imagine they are short staffed like everyone else

Clean hotel with extremely friendly staff! The hotel room was a little dated, and we could not get the Wifi in our room which was a very big problem for my husband and I due to work and school - but I know it was a brick historic building so it was what it was. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast was okay, nothing exciting but it tasted decent. We would absolutely book this hotel again based on the friendliness of the staff, clean room, and great location!

My wife and I evacuated from Venice, Florida as hurricane Milton approached. We had stayed at this location in January, so were familiar with location. We chose this hotel because of the positive experience we had on our last visit. First and foremost we would like to mention and acknowledge assistant GM, Theresa Reese-Fisher and FDA, Max Alexandre for their kindness, compassion and amazing service during our stay especially under the circumstances. The hotel itself is immaculately clean, rooms are spacious and comfortable, and great continental breakfast. They even upgraded our room which had a spectacular view of the Savannah river and Talmage Memorial bridge. Also of note, the hotel is conveniently located so if you are able you can walk to everything this historic and charming town has to offer.
