"A Room With a View and All the Comforts of Home...and More"

My wife and I love Savannah, but this time the weather was quite cold and bitter. However, there was something so special about our room that provided a comforting hideaway from the weather. Most hotels have an industrial feel, but our room actually felt so homey and warm and comfortable, we were happy just spending much of our visit relaxing there and looking out at the river from our large window above Bay Street. The room was beautifully decorated - it may have been recently remodeled. The carpeting was plush and we had all the conveniences of a fridge, micro and coffee maker. The bathroom was top notch. When we go back to Savannah, we will specifically seek out this room. The reception staff were delightful and helpful when we needed it. This hotel is right in the heart of all the action between the river and the beautiful historic district. A city parking garage is right next door. Excellent restaurants surround the hotel. What more could anyone ask? Thank you, Holiday Inn and Staff for making this visit a really special one.

The location is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, tourist sites, and is close to bus stops. The rooms are very nice. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast room is great with a good selection of breakfast foods. The conceirge staff were very helpful. The front desk staff were also pleasant and helpful.

Arriving upon check-in, NEVER EVER allowed to get checked in before 4pm. Have stayed at all different times of the year, same excuse whether vacancy or not. Check in desk on 12-21-24 only one girl working, couldn’t do 2 things at the same time. Not good when you have pp lined up for check-in. Room 516 was decent, but plse change the toilet seat that has peeling on both sides of it. I know Holiday Inn can do better than this.

My husband and I spent the weekend in Savannah at this beautiful hotel. The staff, our room, and location was perfect. We really enjoyed ourselves, everything was in walking distance. The City Market is a must see. We will definitely stay here again.

Justin, Abe, Theresa Fisher and the dear older restaurant helper were all so helpful, kind and welcoming. The location of the hotel was great. We could get around easily. The room was comfortable and clean. It was not difficult to get clean towels or empty trash cans.
