"Beautiful Christmas!"

I had a wonderful 10 day experience, from the staff..Paul, Este, Genia, Millie, the doormen who looked out for me so well. And every person there was helpful and kind. My watch did got stolen by a “guest” but other than that I will go back at any opportunity. Also, the food there is EXCELLENT!! From the breakfast buffet to the restaurant menu. The short rib tacos are a feast and I appreciated the great service from the kitchen staff!! Thank you Capitol Hilton Garden Inn for the memorable stay!!

"It could have been a little better"

As a Hilton Silver member, Hilton/Hampton Inn has always been my preferred hotel to stay for trips. The last 3 trips we have stayed, we had a great experience but this last one left a little to be desired. When we arrived at check in, we noticed that the water stations were empty, but being it’s near a holiday (NYE), I didn’t make a big deal. The following day, I saw the drink station had been switched out for coffee and hot water, but when I walked over to get tea, there were no tea bags. It’s possible it may have been the time of day I went to the drink station, so I attempted to make coffee in my room. The coffee machine ended up being broken, which was another let down. By this time I had given it up. We went to inquire about adding breakfast to our stay as it has not included, but were told that the kitchen would be shut down for at least 2 days, only to discover later that breakfast service had taken place and the kitchen was not closed. We were very disappointed by that as we had intended it add it to our stay. We did, however, enjoy the service and hospitality shown by the bartender named Kevon (Von) which helped with some of the experience we had been having. He was very knowledgeable about the city and personable. I’m hoping that we definitely have an improved experience the next time we choose to stay at a Hilton/Hampton Inn.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The bartender was engaging and attentive. My check in and check out experience with Paul and another person took time to explain the hotel offerings and made us feel welcomed! The bedding was extremely comfortable and the bar food selection was impressive

"Fantastic and enjoyable the Hotel"

The experience in the Hilton Hotel was so amazing and the facilities were the best. The staff was special and so good. Mrs Nakerra/lyle was fantastic and Mr Ochoa was marvelous. The hotel in Washington is so beautiful and comfortable and the location is perfect in the town center.

"Very diligent manager"

Lyle was a very diligent and thoughtful manager. We had some confusion around the Thanksgiving holiday and he worked very hard to ensure our stay in DC was enjoyable and memorable. He went above and beyond during a very hectic holiday season. Things happen, but how management deals with it makes a huge difference. Lyle was aces!
