Great location in downtown Philadelphia. Comfortable hotel, clean, and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet or table service available. The reason for a 4 instead of 5 is no brochures available of events in the city, no map available, no lobby or lounge seating.

"Great service from Amy and Monroe, convenient to stay in"

PROs: The location is very convenient to from the city center, room was great for its price. Very walkable to sites. Commendable and entertaining discource with Ms. Amy Saranrath at the lobby. I'll get to breakfast in a bit; but I would really like to commend server Monroe, who was very pleasant, attentive and made me feel at home at the 10th floor during the early morning breakfast. Please look for him if you have the chance. Good water pressure, nice tub. Close to reading terminal market CONS: Our room key kept on getting disabled; The gym could use some weights The breakfast menu never changed for the duration of our stay.

"DO NOT BOOK HERE"

WOREST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I have made a booking at this hotel over 2 months ago for my business trip to attend a conference in the convention center near by. Today with less than 3 days to my travel date I found out by accident that my booking got cancelled without anyone from the hotel contacting me when I checked my booking status on their website this morning. They know that there is an event happening near by, so they are now listing the same rooms with 4x their price when I booked 2 months ago (from $250/night to over a $1000/night) knowing that all the nearby hotels are fully booked because of the event. I reported this to the travel department in my company and when they contacted the hotel they were told they have no idea how this happened and I should expect a call from their manager which I never received! I'll never trust a place with the Hilton name on it again, and I advise others to stay away from such an unprofessional place.

Good location and rooms. I like how they clean the rooms everyday. Amy was very hospitable. Service was also very good. I loved the breakfast and the staff's service. The lobby was also a good place to stay and spend some time in especially when waiting for friends.
