The Hilton Garden Inn is located in Marina del Rey, unfortunately a bit far from all attractions. Venice Beach can be reached after about 20 minutes on foot. For everything else you need a car. Parking in the hotel garage is very expensive, but there is a public parking garage next to the hotel where it is cheaper. You can also park for free on the surrounding streets. The hotel area is very well maintained. The staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms facing the streets with a view are nice and spacious, but also a bit noisy as they are busy streets. There is a heated outdoor pool that opens from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. This is relatively late, considering that the sun sets at half past five in November, you could swim earlier to make better use of the day. A pool opening from 8 a.m. would make sense. It is also written on the board that you should no longer use the pool after dark. The biggest drawback is the lack of a shower and toilet at the pool. Everyone goes in almost without a shower, regardless of whether they are small children, adults or pensioners. And you can't shower afterwards.

We used at the Hilton Garden Inn at Marina del Rey for our wedding hotel block and we could not recommend this place highly enough! The staff were helpful, professional, and sweet in every respect. Multiple guests came up to me to tell us how My and Kat took care of them. The housekeeping team even made a beautiful swan sculpture on our bed when we arrived back at the room, too. Working with Helen and her team to get the block set up was a dream, and the space itself was great! The rooms are a little bigger than your standard hotel room and the property itself has a lot of places to casually hang out. It is also so convenient. If you are hosting an event or just want a little vacation/staycation - this is the place to be!
