I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The hotel is in a great location. It’s very close to 6th Street for all your entertainment needs. The rooms are so spacious, and everything you would need. Bathroom spacious too. The rooms are so has a microwave and fridge. The best part of this hotel is the staff. They made my stay so welcoming. I want to give out a massive shoutout to the following…. Zane, front house. What a lovely young man and so pleasant. Also, Carlos & Delmie, ( hope I spelt her name correctly?) who served me well at Breakfast. They were a pleasure to meet. Nothing was too much trouble for them. These staff are an asset to this hotel. Without amazing staff like them, this hotel would’nt be what it is. Please personally thank them all for me. I am so grateful :)

Amazing stay!! What a wonderful experience with the front desk staff, including Carmen, Gloria and Valeria, they made our trip so enjoyable with their cheerful conversation and great advice. Our room was large, clean, and quiet and the location was convenient. The next time I’m in Austin, I will certainly stay here again!

"Sparkly Austin Garden Inn Birthday Celebration!!!"

The 18th floor is the most lively spot and just amazing. The food is superb and the staff is so culturally diverse with the meals they provide and the staff!! You find culture here from all around the world! I enjoyed speaking spanish with the staff and meeting individuals from the Austin Hilton convention members:) Serigo Sanchez is the bartender upstairs. He really knows how to make any drink and also he is open to new drink suggestions. I was able to tell him some Chicago drinks and boy did he adapt and overcame! He was so fast with making drinks and handling such a large crowd on his own. I met him two weeks ago last time I stayed here and he was the highlight of my stay. He took me around Austin with a college professor and made sure we were safe!! It was amazing someone my age was able to just hear what I wanted to do and boom it happened. Sucha friendly and kind individual. He made the stay remarkable. I returned from Chicago driving down 11 1/2 hours and made sure my father met my new friends. Jake Spiller and Sergio Sanchez took care of me as a friend by now giving my father the Austin experience for his 61st birthday. We had steak and the best cheesecake. I never even fancied cheesecake!!! But it was so delicious. I just listened to Sergios suggestions then boom! Delightful experience. I left Jake to talk adult talk with my dad on one side of the bar and I went to the other side. I met a famous singer too at the hotel!!!!!!!! Matthew Grant was here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That man made the area so lively by singing and the views of Austin are so profound on the 18th floor. Sergio took care of Matthew and myself and our group of friends grew!! Jake and Sergio along with Matthew, my father and I. Jake and Sergio listened to the things my father and I like along with Matthew. It felt like we had a tour guide! Both Serigo and Jake took us around Austin and made sure my father had the best experience in Austin at the garden inn !!! I recently myself just purchased a stay at the Garden Inn because I know my father is so happy and tired from his Austin tour 💛 THE VIEWS AT THE AUSTIN GARDEN IN ARE AMAZINGGGG. I was met by Carmen and she was so pleasant and generous. She made sure I got the best room possible in this beautiful hotel! There is amazing views even inside where you feel so at home and staff. I really like this hotel to get a more laid back and diverse feel. The Austin Garden Inn prepares you to relax, feel safe, in sucha clean environment. Walking distance is downtown Austin!!!! I would ask Sergio for any recommendations at the Austin Garden Inn. He knows so much since he has lived in Austin for so long. I really enjoy bouncing between both Hotels. I would also ask Jake Spiller for any recommendations at the Austin Hilton around Austin and even outside of the city!!!! I love it here at the Austin Garden Inn. Thank you for this constant immersion experience 💛

"Great experience"

Visited Austin with friends and stayed here. We knew the stay was going to be great when the first person we met was Thomas with valet. He was friendly, helpful and had great information about the city. Each day we saw him he had a smile and greeted us, asking how things were going and if there was anything he could do for us. Based on our experience with him alone (although other staff were good too) we will be coming back to stay with the hotel again! The hotel is located in a good area close to everything and easy walking distance. There are some questionable people around the area but the hotel can’t control it and there was no problem because of it. We walked in a group which I think was helpful too. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the bar and breakfast was good as well. Id recommend a staying here and hope you get to experience the excellent service Thomas provides!

It is hard to write a review of this hotel. The employees were all great to us. The room was standard for this type of hotel although somewhat dated. We had a room facing the highway, but did not hear it so there is good soundproofing. There is no lobby to speak of in terms of a bar, place to hangout etc. However the restaurant/bar on the top floor was great about letting our group meet up there. The location of the hotel is problematic, but there is nothing to be done about that. It is on the highway at the far end of 6th street. The sidewalks are treacherous around the hotel, especially at night. But a city problem to repair them and not the hotel. We were older couples in town for a football game so 6th St. was not for us. It's like Bourbon street in New Orleans. Again, not the hotel's problem, but something to be aware of. I would not as a woman, walk outside the hotel alone after dark. There is a lot of homelessness in Austin and as always most are harmless. There was one woman who was violent and it took several police to subdue her. We were in Austin many years ago and were lucky enough to stay at the Four Seasons. I believe that area of the city is nicer than this location. It all depends on your budget.
