"Find a better place to stay."

Room 435, needs maintenance badly and the hotel overall needs an update. Our room had ceiling damage from a leak, the cabinet under the TV has huge gouges in it, the floor was disgustingly filthy, (we stuck to it barefoot so wore our shoes the remainder of our stay) the bathroom sink is cracked, the shower is uneven and we risked falling in it, good thing theres a handle. Overall we would not recommend this hotel and are unsatisfied with our stay. For the price you charge this place needs work badly! I am a loyal Hilton member and former owner of a HGI and know you have standards to abide by via the Hilton chain! Very disappointed.

Dec. 21, 2024 I was awakened by a terrible noise at door. My door burst open with man standing there with hacksaw in his hand. He used hacksaw to cut through bar lock on my door. I tried to call front desk but BOTH room phones didn't work. Used my cell. Desk said computer made mistake, thought room empty. Situation felt very wrong. Hotel manager never returned my calls. Still waiting to hear from Corporate Customer Service Hampton Inn and Hilton. Dangerous situation for lone woman. Travelers have a right to feel safe in hotels. I didn't know if I was being robbed or worse. There were other ways to see if room occupied other than a hacksaw cutting through door lock in the night. Valdosta Hampton Inn's Management's lack of interest and concern about what happened to me should be a warning to you. Think twice before staying there. You may not be as safe in their hotel room as you think you are.

"Don’t stay"

This is so disgusting, not only did they give me a queen room when 8 booked a king, but when we opened the digital key, it was for a different room. During the night, I heard someone try to get in our room, am sure the digital keys were switched. Luckily we had the security lock on. Then when I finally heard from Hilton and checked my CC, I have 2 room charges not just one. What a mess. The light by the bed has no shade, the hallways had blue tape hanging, filthy carpet and mold in the tub. When I sent message to mgr, he kept saying how they have such high standards. We’ve stayed at lots of Hampton inns and have never had this experience.

Hotel staff friendly on arrival. The Home 2 Suites wasn’t available so the call to book a room -the Hilton rep recommended this one. It was fine. Room was clean, just old and worn. The couch was dirty or stained. Allowed pets. Breakfast was good.

The hotel was run-down and filthy. There were stains on floors in the common areas and in the room. The furniture in the room was in disrepair and stained. The plumbing fixtures in the shower tub were quite literally falling off the wall. The shower did not drain filling up to ankle depth! We had to rinse our feet in the sink. The towels were old and yellowed. I would give this hotel a zero star if it was possible. This is my second stay in a Hampton Inn that has been horribly rundown. Hilton should be embarrassed to even list these hotels on their website.
