"Location location"

We stayed here 10 years ago and returned again for another visit to Savannah. Excellent location just steps from River Street, walking distance to City Market and the trolley tour stop and lots more. Hotel very welcoming, clean and offers a free breakfast. Be aware of vast parking at $45 per night. We parked in the public garage across from the hotel and it cost us just $42 for 3 nights. Highly recommended.

"Everything But Valet is Good"

If you don’t have a vehicle, this is a good place to stay! Check-in, pretty smooth, breakfast area, clean and neat and staff inside very friendly. The valet system is an inconsistent hot mess. Very slow and inefficient. Bad enough that I would look elsewhere if I had a car.

The Hampton Inn Historic District is in a great location and walking distance to a lot of attractions. Check in and check out were easy. The room was clean, and all the staff I encountered were nice and courteous. I used weights in the gym, which was adequate, and the complimentary breakfast was enough. The hotel also has complimentary luggage storage, and we left our luggage there for a few hours before heading to the airport. Highly recommend.

I really wanted to love this hotel, but I was disappointed! Location is great! Unfortunately, upon arrival after a long drive, we get to our room and there is NO toilet paper. Had to wait 20 minutes for toilet paper. Also there was no extra blanket in this room. I get up the next morning and we have no cups to make coffee, no creamer, no sugars of any kind. Also no washcloths.. This is a first for us with Hampton. The hotel was clean, but the housekeeping room on our floor remained open and was trashy looking. Also the suite rooms bathrooms are lacking counter space and the set up is awful. Bryan, the manager, did not seem to care.

A beautiful hotel! Check in was easy, and friendly! Concierge was great! Room was CLEAN!!! Highly recommend staying here if you are in Savannah! Beautfiul location! Close to the water, a nice walking path! Little shops and quaint little restaurants, all within walking distance!
