Hampton Inn Middletown NY

The breakfast?? But other than that the room was very clean. Front desk gave us extra towels quickly. Very friendly and kind when we were checking in. Wasn’t very crowded but was nice because it was quiet. I went because my house was being worked on so this was a nice little get away.

This is a reliable, standard Hampton Inn. It's not in pristine shape, but it's not warn down either. Maybe "not crisp" would be the appropriate tone. Everything was fine. Staff was welcoming and helpful. The lobby was neat and clean. Our room was fine. Clean and neat. The breakfast was hot with eggs and was fine. We have stayed here before and if we hadn't, I might have rated it 5-star....but it wasn't quite as good as I remembered. I bet they'll do an update in a few years.

Very nice 1st time stay was in town for niece’s wedding .stayed with our son also from out of town.room was clean and neat.bathroom clean .one small thing Bath mat either for inside or outside tub.outside of that room was great no problems.brakefast looked good but had coffee .yes we would stay again if in area .

We've never stayed at a nicer Hampton Inn. Most importantly, the staff were friendly and accommodating. They were supportive of each other, which says a lot about the way a place is managed. This hotel will be our go-to place to stay the next time we travel to and from Massachusetts.

My fiancé and I were attending an event in Middletown after reading reviews we decided on Hampton inn. Price point was a little high considering that during the week it’s dirt cheap. At first glance it was very nice. Check in very easy and quick, we got a room on the first floor room 102. When we entered the room it had a strong musty smell. We thought maybe if we turned on the a.c that might help the smell, after turning the ac on we went to our event, we got back at about 11pm. When we got in the room again the smell was still very strong. As we sat we realized it smelled like a wet dog, it was horrible, my partner and I both have allergies. No one told us they were dog friendly during the booking so we suffered all night. I had to take my pump several times.. the smell was coming from the rug also There was a sofa in the room it also had white stains on it.. we decided to stay because it was very late and the hotel was packed. There were no other options. Next day we got up we went to breakfast. Breakfast was actually pretty good. When we checked out we complained about the smell, the woman said they were pet friendly and that next time we should ask for a room on the upper levels. She said she would ask the manager to call us.. he never did.. Today I spoke with someone else in our party who stayed on the third floor she also said the room smelled badly and was told the same thing. I just wonder why no one noticed the room smelled this badly before renting it to someone else. It was impossible they didn’t notice.
