Hotel Continental Miami Beach - Tapestry Collection by Hilton

I stayed during the weekday and was pleasantly surprised with how helpful the entire front desk team was with me and my girlfriend!!! Special shoutout to Franco, Leyla, Julian, and Jhokasta. I can’t remember the guys name during the night but he was also very nice!!! Would definitely come back and bring my family, loved all of the amenities specially the beach chairs that they give you to bring to the beach!!! You can’t beat it. 10/10 recommend

I can only assume the majority of these reviews are from Americans who haven’t left the Country or people who haven’t experienced anything above 4* in Europe. This really was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at in a while. It could be Miami in general, but all of the hotels along the beach look rundown and haven’t had a renovation since the 90s. I paid an obscene amount for 1 week stay which would have bagged me a 5 star in Europe. It’s rated as 4 star on booking.com and 3 star on here, I’d give it 2 stars max. There are no facilities. There is a pool that I wouldn’t dare tip a toe in based on the disgusting children that urinate in it all day, there is no restaurant it’s next doors restaurant that they ‘borrow’ for breakfast. The breakfast is the same old American junk food with little diversity, served on PAPER plates and plastic cutlery… at one point throughout the week they just stopped bringing tea and boiling water options out altogether so if you don’t like coffee good luck. The ‘gym’ was closed due to a flood - no mention of this pre booking. The rooms tiny, I couldn’t imagine sharing it with a second person. Cleaning sub par and only cleaned every other day, very little space to store anything. On checkout they tried to charge me parking which I had no vehicle at all for. On checkout in they will deduct 700 dollars security deposit for a week stay. Only positives I can say is you get free water bottles on request, it’s next door to a CVS, the Piola restaurant downstairs is nice of an evening, and it’s right by the beach - but most hotels on Miami Beach are.. since it’s the beach. Would not book again. If you are familiar with any moderately high quality of hotel stays at all in Europe I would avoid like the plague

Honestly, this hotel is a gem! out of the many hotels in the surrounding area, this one is 'bang for your buck' ... their breakfast in the morning was fulfilling with an abundance of choices. The pizza restaurant in the lobby is amazing! this hotel is very clean and right by the beach, less than 5 min walk across the street. We would highly recommend this hotel, the only downside that i see is if you rented a vehicle, parking would be a nightmare,,but i think that is mainly in miami beach area because of limited space, not the hotel's fault

Great location in Miami Beach only a block from the ocean, and walkable to South Beach. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is courteous. Free breakfast is typical, nothing fancy but good. Hotel itself could use some updating, but we would still stay again.
