"Nice clean hotel"

We stayed here for 4 nights because of easy access to the expo center. It was clean and breakfast was good. They clean your room every other day. Sheets don't appear changed just beds made. The shower wasn't cleaned as well as the bathroom floor wasn't swept. The room was still nice and comfortable.

Hotel room was nice but random people were showing up to party, smoke, and drink while families were trying to swim. my 13 year old sister and i felt very uncomfortable as they were watching us swim. they also were very loud and had a bluetooth speaker

We stayed here because of its location to Kentucky Kingdom. You can actually walk there if you are so inclined. Just a couple of blocks. However, they were at the tail end of a construction project that left the hotel without several amenities. No pool or exercise room. We were allowed to use the ones at the other hotel across from the parking lot, but that's not as convenient as staying inside the building you are already at. Plus, one day that pool was full, so we got turned away. It looked like it was almost finished and it will most likely look great at this point, but other than the breakfast, we weren't able to partake in much at the hotel.

"Not what we expected"

We chose this Hampton Inn because it offered a free shuttle to Churchill Downs & the airport, however, most all hotels in this area do. We are Diamond members, but were not greeted as such or greeted at all. The big guy at the front desk appeared aggravated that he had been interrupted. He did not offer water, any information on shuttle service, nothing about breakfast, the pool or elevators. He simply handed us a key and sat back down. The room had dust on the furniture, but the bathroom appeared clean. No black wash cloth or makeup remover cloth was provided, so I didn’t feel bad about staining what was provided. Breakfast was blah. Although checkout is not until noon, housekeeping began slamming doors and turned music up very loud so it was impossible to rest after breakfast. We did not receive a receipt because the “system was down” but were promised one would be emailed shortly. We never received a receipt…so if traveling for business keep this in mind. We would not recommend this Hampton Inn. There are many other Hilton brand hotels in close proximity to this one…stay at one of those!

Had water outage unable to take shower had to wait. Remodeling crew hit water line front desk said. They were nice about just inconvenience of it all. Breakfast was what you’d expect. Overall good stay but water outage was not very pleasant.
