I am a gold member with Hilton, so I do somewhat a lot of traveling throughout the year. This hotel is outdated. There is a lot of minor details that need to be worked on. Engineering could start a list and work on it daily. But what makes the hotel so great is the people. The front desk agent to the breakfast attendant to the housekeepers. Every person we talked with was very kind & welcoming. I would’ve given 5 stars had I didn’t see all the minor issues throughout the halls hotel. The staff cannot help the product that are given to sell & work. But what they can help is how they interact with guests. Overall, a good stay and would go back if I’m in the area again. Good job.

Shout out to Krystie at the front desk. What a terrific employee. She was kind and patient, and worked to get me the room that I wanted. And did it all with a great sense of humor. And remembered my name every time I passed the front desk. Made my stay much more pleasant. On the other hand, the hotel needs to put much better lighting at its entrance. It's really difficult to see where to enter the parking lot, and particularly difficult to see the small (unlit) traffic island that separates inbound and outbound traffic. An easy fix, but it's been the same problem for years.

First and foremost, I must say that I hesitated to write this review because this hotel is truly a hidden gem, and I selfishly wanted to keep it a secret. The staff here make this hotel the epitome of five-star service, especially Rachel, the manager, and Georgia front desk personnel. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure an exceptional experience. Whether it’s handling an issue, arranging transportation, assisting with dry cleaning, or accommodating an extended stay even when the hotel is oversold, Rachel and Georgia never say no. Instead, they always strive to find a solution and simplify any challenges guests may face. This level of dedication and care defines true service. Importantly, this isn’t just a one-time occurrence. I’ve experienced this same outstanding service during multiple stays, and Rachel and Georgia have been instrumental in making each visit exceptional. While the entire staff is warm, friendly, and professional, Rachel and Georgia stand out as the reason this hotel reaches the pinnacle of five-star service. I sincerely thank them for consistently making my stays memorable and for setting such a high standard of hospitality. Thank you Dr Persaud

Lovely, clean and nice staff: We checked in after midnight, and the front desk staff (whose name I am not remembering after a long travel day) could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Room was clean, quiet and the bed comfortable. The pool looked nice and we could see it from the complimentary breakfast, but we didn't get to use it as only here for one night?

1/7/25 Arrived earlier than check in after quite a drive from Tampa. Rachel was terrific. She followed up with housekeeping as info regarding a room that was done was not yet showing in the computer data base. She handed us 2 our 2 bottles of water in a bag (so much easier to carry). It would have been so easy for her to say it wasn’t yet 4pm. Many times elsewhere we have to ask for the water. Thank you Rachel for really showing genuine hospitality vibe! When traveling we’ve come to expect hiccups but such little things mean A LOT! The room was what we expected: a bit tired but the heat/AC worked, towels were plentiful for our overnight stay, and it was quiet. Three minor issues I had was being short I could barely reach to where the lotion was attached to the wall above the bathroom counter next to the mirror. The other was that every time I reached for TP, the holder fell off the wall. Hubs however did not seem to have that problem. The 3rd is that the coffee in the lobby when we would come back was never hot and on the evening of 1/7 it was actually empty and no one was at the desk. I did try the room pot but we didn’t see an outlet near the pull out for the coffee maker and related items for it. We did move the pot over near the bed area, but that seemed strange and the coffee it produced was marginal quality. All these are minor inconveniences for the price we paid, as well as the convenience of the location to where a meeting we were attending was taking place the next day.
