"Cal Men's Lacrosse Stay"

Staff was extremely nice and accommodating to our big group. They prepared check in ahead of time and were very kind to everyone in our party and subsequent guests. Breakfast was very delicious and had a wide selection. It was a great overall stay, 5 stars.

"Not a great stay"

I don't have a ton of loyalty points with Hilton, so when I checked in, I'm sure I was given a room that wasn't the best. The room was on the north side of the hotel over an alley. Also over the dumpsters. Every morning for three days in a row at 4:30am, it was either a very loud garbage truck emptying it, or someone was throwing trash into it and since it was empty, it echoed like crazy. The A/C didn't work. It was originally set to 68 so I put it in heat mode and set it to 70. No change. With the warm weather, it eventually got to 71. I put it in cool mode and for 36 hours, it never got down to 70. The TV would lose audio when changing channels. Twice, while watching a local channel, it would simply jump to the home screen(the screen that is shown when first powering up). I had to call guest services once because it wouldn't turn on. The hotel website says nothing about having a fitness center. There is one in the hotel, but not listed under the amenity section.

"Hope you brought your own lightsource"

I stayed at this hotel and it is well maintained. Convenient parking, good breakfast. My issue was the lighting in the bathroom. I have a light meter (I am in commercial construction for a living) and took the light measurement in the bathroom and it registered 8 footcandles. 8! To give you an idea, a night light gives off 5 footcandles. When I asked the front desk, she said she knew this was an issue and that other customers had complained as well. This is a SIMPLE fix. GET NEW LIGHTBULBS! Really was a pain trying to get ready in the morning and not being able to see and FORGET nighttime! You had better get your cell phone out and use it as a flashlight if you want to put on make up or put in a contact. This is too good of a hotel to let lighting be your downfall. Please fix this!!!

"Couldn't have had a better stay."

This will be my hotel of choice during my frequent visits to Austin. My stay here has been perfect. The hotel is clean and modern. The breakfast has everything I could want. The staff is kind, helpful and professional, especially Rose-she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. I am visiting from Germany and this hotel feels like my home away from home.

"What goes around, comes around"

Originally, we planed to stay at this Hotel for 2 nights, but everything was so perfect from the the man name Noah at the desk who is very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful to the cleanness of our room to the great free fresh breakfast and great atmosphere we stayed one extra night. I don`t normally give reviews that often but felt that everybody in this Hotel care about their guests and that should be talked about.
