"Five star staff but state of rooms disappointing"

The staff deserves five stars! Corey at the front desk was incredible. He did everything in his power to make us comfortable. The bar and serving staff were so friendly and helpful. The location is ideal but the property itself wasn’t worth more than one star. Our room didn’t meet our level of expectation from Embassy Suites. The curtains were torn and tattered. It had a smokey smell. The website misleadingly stated a king bed in our second bedroom when there are only doubles available. We didn’t have housekeeping for two of our three days and it was a struggle to get towels. One of the elevators was out of service. There were ants crawling all over our 3 room suite. Luckily we had Corey’s special attention compensate for the issues.

"Great location, people great, room not so great."

The location is great. The staff was wonderful especially Corey and Nicky. Breakfast was really good, especially the omelet bar. The housekeeping was not up to par . We consistently had to call for towels, the room was never vacuumed. One afternoon we called to inquiry about housekeeping and we’re told we were39thin line. There were ants in our bathroom each morning. Definitely not the typical Embassy suites room from the past.

Worst accommodations I’ve ever experienced at an Embassy suites. Our suite was not the configuration as described on the website (we got a full in the second room rather than King), and the smaller room smelled bad. There were ants in both rooms, house keeping never made it to our room first day (we were 39th on the list at 4pm), when they came the second day all they did was empty the trash and make up the roll away. Room was not cleaned or vacuumed and we weren’t given fresh towels. Corey and the front desk staff were wonderful. They were extremely supportive, responsive and understanding of our dissatisfaction with the rooms, lack of cleanliness and bed sizes. They did everything in their power to make things better and provided great customer service, which is the only reason this rating isn’t lower. Embassy Suites is lucky to have them.

"Austin for a wedding"

We needed extra pillows as my husband had had hip surgery and our housekeeper Mary went above and beyond by going down and getting us extra pillows and blankets. The room was always clean after she had been in here and we always appreciated the tidy room and friendly service.

"Hotel 3 Star but Staff 5 Star"

The hotel is dated, falling apart in areas, and unreasonably priced for the maintenance issues, however, the breakfast that comes with the stay is delicious. Jose (I believe that was his name) making the omelets was amazing he was really a breath of fresh air to see every morning. Was professional, courteous, and made our omelette like they were his own. Mary, our housekeeper for our room was also amazing, also very professional and kind. Finally, Corey, the front desk supervisor, was overall professional, courteous, understanding, and addressed all of our concerns regarding our room and the hotel, immediately. He ensured we remained loyal to the Embassy Suite brand. I gave the hotel an overall 3 stars based off, price, the condition and age of hotel. The staff and cleanliness I give 5 stars.
