"AWFUL!!!!!"

this was one of the worst stay at a hotel.. hair left in the tub… not HEAD HAIR either! had to be pubic or facial… NASTY!! paid extra then what booking said it would be. there was crumbs left in one of the bed and the other bed sheets were stained yellow and just was NASTY!! bugs by the ac unit. food left in the fridge from previous people. the toilet had poop streaks in it. the tv wouldn’t turn on. when checking out we were going to address the issues with someone but there was a sign saying to call a number and we did and they said to just “leave the keys” we asked to talk to someone face to face and was told “leave the keys” was just AWFUL!! you guys can’t get house cleaning or know how to clean a room?? this was so bad!!!

"Total disappointment"

Receptionist was very nice. The ENTIRE place is so bad please stay away it’s not worth it it’s musty, wet the water doesn’t go down. We came in and the toilet seat was dirty dry pee, we called and had it cleaned the carpet had a weird stain didn’t look like they cleaned it at all, the other room my parents were here smelled straight up like BO and smoke. They charge $25 more if linen is found dirty but the whole room was so disgusting. We played the lottery won 30$ the first time 11$ the other and they claimed the machine was broken! We asked the guys and yelled that it didn’t work!

"Keep Your Expectations Low"

We booked this stay as it is one of the few dog friendly stays in the Dells. This is probably the worst Choice Hotels location we’ve ever stayed at. The girl at the front desk was very friendly but it went downhill from there. We went to our room and it was hot as heck, smelled musty/like smoke and definitely not up to the cleanliness standards we’re used to. The bathroom looked like someone just used it as the shower was all wet, the inside of the garbage bag was wet, there was a smudge on the tub (sort of hidden by a supposedly clean towel?) and a stray you know what hair on the edge of the tub..Above the sink there was a fruit roll up box that was flattened and stuck behind one of the lights? Not sure if that was supposed to be a fix for something (the light didn’t work) or if it was unnoticed in cleaning? Very weird. The fridge had some mold in it. We came to discover after a few hours that the reason it was so hot in our room was because the window was left open… This was a little unnerving being on the first floor and also annoying as it was 90+ degrees in July and the rest of our stay was hot and sticky even with the air conditioner at full blast. We were not told about breakfast at check-in but knew it was supposed to be a perk from booking. It was very minimal. None of the employees wear uniforms so I was very confused to see some random woman, who was eating with her (I assume) husband and kid, go and start to fill things and go in the kitchen? Everything seemed to be run down - there is a pool outside filled with dirt and a broken fence around it. The inside pool does not look like it’s been updated since the 80s. You have to walk through the pool to get to one whole side of the hotel which was confusing and slightly annoying. This place needs to be remodeled and run better before I would stay there again.

"Not good"

I am sorry but this is one of the worse hotels I have been in for a very long time. Checking in and a kid is bouncing a basketball in the lobby and throw it against the wall. Very distractive. I have never been asked by any hotel when I checked it to pay right away, always paid on check out. There were outlets that had adaptors to make for more outlets. Seemed unsafe. The rooms were not very clean and when complained took us to a room that was just as uncleaned. The outside appearance of the hotel, rundown and unkempt. Lawn not mowed and no landscaping. Unfortunately more people must agree as there really were no other people staying there. Now I know why. Will not stay here again.

"Not safe…"

There were 5 police SUVs when we arrived, people leaving, and family felt unsafe so booked at BW across the street. There is a reason rooms are cheap. They would not issue a refund. Safety is number 1.
