I travel to Orlando every week and stay no where else but this hotel. Claire, Manathala, Ryan, Sue and the CFO are perfect hosts . Great service and food. No need to stay anywhere else . This hotel is a 10 plus. Great beds , gym , check in, and rooms. Pillows and cleanliness is at the top of the list. They always seem to accommodate .

No pool bar and were told it is not in season. We are in Orlando where Disney world is … the loss of revenue from this is astounding. Super disappointed. The Starbucks line was over an hour long every single day. The barista dropped coffee, slid the ice and coffee spilt back into the cup and sneezed all over food. The Starbucks did not accept mobile orders which would have elevated the wait and long lines. There were multiple customer service team members stalking hotel guests about special deals and getting points. We stopped twice and received $250 pts but had one women continuously text me with updates and offers. The “Burgers pizza and more” was always slammed and long waits for food. This was the only option to get canned alcohol for the pool or room while you waited for the bar inside which opened at 4pm. Not enough chairs at pool - people sitting on the ground. There was plenty of room for multiple rows of chairs. People were taking the unoccupied pool bar chairs to sit. Not to mention, it was dirty around the pool ex: trash not being taken out for days at a time, bandaids on the ground, bird poop all over the chairs. A pool attendant and lifeguard would have been useful as there were a lot of children and the space needed organization. The elevators were in and out of service. We called night before and stopped by the desk in AM for late check out and had someone knock on the door at 9:40am… Pros: Great views of universal Walking distance to universal Washer and dryer available Large spacious room with good bed The gift shop had everything except alcohol Great room reset of clean sheet and towels

Carlos with Valet did a great job and was really helpful. From the time we got to the hotel, Carlos was there to grab our luggage and skillfully wheeled it into the elevator and to our room. 10/10 would recommend Carlos to any family that needs an extra set of hands.

Hotel is old. Location is good, right across from universal studios. However I was told the rooms were the priciest among those nearby. Staff are friendly. Desk lamp in room didn't work and despite giving feedback five times (I gave up after that), nothing was done about it. Pillows are way too soft. So is the bed. No courtesy bedroom slippers or toiletries, so bring your own. Only 2 x 500mls bottles of water given when you arrive, with no top ups, so buy your own. Air conditioning unit is old school and noisy. Came here for a conference. Food is ok. Conference space is adequate. Overall, an average experience - not exceptional, and in fact, rather disappointing for a hilton brand.

The DoubleTree at the Entrance to Universal was spectacular! After spending a few required days at the old and dingy best Western (for the same price) this hotel was a breath of literal fresh air. I will never stay anywhere else but Hilton hotels from now on. We were greeted with hospitality we've never seen from anywhere else by the kindest person, Linda Carter! She made sure the next few days were relaxing and comfortable for me and my family. The walk to Universal Studios was easy and pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel. Very clean and updated and best of all, thick walls and silence. Everyone was kind and cheerful. 5 stars!
