"Color me suprised!"

The neighborhood seemed a lisurprised! Was a lil apprehensive on staying here.But was pleasantly surprised how clean our room was and the bed was nice. Both gentleman from the front desk were super. And bonus, the Mexican restaurant right next to it was fantastic. The servers were upbeat, nice looking and on top of it. And just t a few steps away

check in was good, we went to room and changed for a biz meeting and left, when we got back about 10:30pm we noticed the tv had no remote control went to front desk and a man no name tag said he was manager (I saw him earlier when we checked in) he gave me a remote went to room it didn't work, went back to front desk man said I only have 1 other remote (if that don't work oh well (it didn't work either). while I was at front desk I ask for a couple towels because we got a room with whirlpool and the room had only 1 towel Mgr. gave me 4 floor mats. went to fill up whirlpool and it took 1hr and 45 minutes to fill, while I was waiting was going to make popcorn and I had to unplug the tv to plug up microwave (I have photos) and when I opened the microwave door a roach came out, when wife and I got ready to get in whirlpool my wife stepped on exposed metal (have pics) and scratched her foot and there were tore spots in the carpet (pics). the bed was comfortable but kept thinking of roaches. when I checked out I told the front desk and she just oh!

"Like arriving to a bad date and being “Catfished” by the old photos"

I am sorry to report that this Days Inn Motel does NOT look anything like the quaint old management photos, but the property is so decrepit, run down, dangerous and scary looking that I didn’t even recognize it when I arrived. After walking around the property I decided to stay at another property, away from the neighborhood. Wow, take about being “Catfished” with the decades old photos. The property was like showing up to a very bad date with someone who turns out to be Fugly AND psycho Crazy. On the positive side, there is lots of free ample parking, and partially smoked cigarettes lying around, if you’re strapped for cigarette money, there’s a banquet waiting to be smoked.

"Skip Days Inn"

The Days Inn motel needed some attention. Outlets were hanging out in the hall and the wallpaper in the hall needs to be replaced. The carpet in our room was worn and needed to be replaced. Several members of the staff were not friendly and the continental breakfast was basically coffee, bagels, and a fruit.

I suggest that nobody ever stays at the Days in on Woodlawn in Charlotte, North Carolina. The place is not the greatest Forest is cleaning is. But the worst about this Days inn is the manager Joe Oswald. I never met a man so uncourteous and so unfriendly to the people who stay there. I watched him one time say some explicit things to a lady who complained about the roaches. He purposely followed her outside after she had already gone outside and said it's very nasty and unpolite thanks to her. And at my last visit July 2nd my cousin was assaulted by him in my room. In her backless fracture. How can you have such a unkind and rude person working for you and hospitality. I would suggest any a hotel other than this one just because they have this man running it.
