I had a great experience vacationing with my family Stephen was a great help he helped me unload and load my bags and luggage and told me great places to eat out with my family keep him he is always pleased to help with us going in and out of parking

Awesome room, awesome service, Adrian and Jimmy were great, as well as the door guy the night before(apologies for not remembering his name)! Not sure when I'll be coming back down to Florida, but when or if I do I'll definitely be staying here again!

Stephen was the best he was super friendly and attentive!! I would definitely recommend staying here if you have the chance! Stephen really made the valet process super easy and was so helpful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome experience!

"Gasparilla perfect hotel spot"

What a wonderful staff works at this Marriott location! They welcomed me to work during one of the year's busiest days – Gasparilla! I could work for 3 hours away from the chaos and then help my friend at her event across the street. Ninoshka was a warm, sweet individual who made everyone feel welcome as they entered the hotel. Chris Bryant, the general manager, has a great personality, and he walked around ensuring everyone was comfortable and had what they needed. If you are looking for a place to stay during Gasparilla, reserve this place first and foremost. You will be at the end of the parade and can easily visit the downtown bars and shops afterward. I enjoyed watching the people set up the bar to ensure it was ready for their guests to enjoy all the festivities. I also overheard how the staff loves to come to work, which has a lot to do with Chris's personality! When positivity starts at the top, it trickles down to the entire staff, and everyone has smiles on their faces. Even though I am a Tampa resident, if I ever need to stay in downtown Tampa for a fun getaway, this will be the place! Thank you, Ninoshka, for welcoming me in, and thank you, Chris, for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere!

"DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL"

Nothing nice to say about this hotel. The staff was unfriendly, unaccommodating and unapologetic when I asked for a higher floor room. The room was old with an unpleasant odor, the bathroom shower was horrible. The bed was small and uncomfortable. The location of the room was right over the street, we had cars blasting their music. It was not a good night.
