Courtyard by Marriott was a great place to stay while visiting family in West LA. Our suite was spacious and well appointed without being fancy. The breakfast bar on the first floor is a Starbuck's with good coffee and many nice choices for breakfast, if a bit pricey. The woman who runs the concession is terrific--helpful and calm under pressure. The Assistant Manager was very understanding when we thought we might have to leave a day early (though it turned out we did not). The parking staff was efficient and prompt and helpful. The only quibble I would have is with every other day cleaning services. The cleaning crew (one young man only) showed up close to 5 p.m. and failed to remove my grungy old towels, while replacing the bathroom with new ones. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay and I would definitely book there again.

Nice and clean, friendly staff and easy parking. Room had two double beds and was fairly small with some odd things such as no hooks for towels or awkward closet sliding doors. I found parking ($35/day) to be very convenient and easy to come in & out. Olympic Blvd is a VERY busy street with lots of traffic day and night so it was rather loud, and you have to wait forever to make the left turn into the hotel parking.

My new apartment wasn’t ready so I found the closest hotel to my apartment to stay . I was vey delighted to stay at the courtyard by marriott century city . When I arrived, the valet parking was very friendly . They helped me with my baggage . The female at the front desk was friendly and she welcomed me with a smile . My room seemed to be a newly renovated room an it was very clean . In the morning, I had my breakfast at the bistro and the service was very friendly .

The front desk was very friendly and acknowledge my titanium status, the rooms were clean and location was good for what I went for, not much noise even though there is a busy street out in front, and overall what you would expect from a courtyard property. The only small issue was just the smell in the hallway but it is a older property which is normal. Overall for the price service and room I would stay here again.

I wish I could say all positive about this hotel, but that’s not the case. We stayed here free on Marriott points, which was a plus. However upon check in, Marriott titanium status was NOT recognized as they are required to do. Even after mentioning the status, it was not acknowledged. The room was just fine for the night, however we were surprised to learn that our balcony was connected to our neighbors. Awkward and unsafe! Speaking of unsafe, the stairwell doors were open when we arrived and remained that way all night long. This is unsafe and anyone could have walked into the hotel! In addition, the walls are very thin and we heard people all night long. Even bad to call the front desk because our neighbors were blaring music after quiet hours. The housekeeping staff members were kind, as well as the bistro workers. This hotel got the job done but it’s one of the worst Marriotts we’ve stayed at.
