If you have a dust mite allergy - beware. Although the rooms themselves are not dusty, the beds are definitely full of dust mites. While the hotel location is convenient to Mag Mile, there is no peace and quiet. There are sirens on the street going off several times an hour all throughout the day/night that will disrupt you even on a high floor. You can also hear everything in the corridors - ranging from walking to other guests being loud at late hours to deciding the corridor is a good location for a large group hang out.

I found the location to be very central for my needs. It was an easy walk to Navy Pier and shops on Magnificent Mile. As a solo female traveller I never felt unsafe walking out to eat at night or ducking out to the seven eleven to grab something. I found the room to be modern with plenty of room and nicely decorated. No issues with checking in or out and any staff I encountered were friendly.

Hotel is in a good location. Bit dated inside. The washing machine was broken when I was there. Rooms are decent size. Can be sometimes noisey at night due to location. Super easy location to use as a base for Chicago. Mini fridge in room. Would stay again

We came here for a few days and boy… this hotel is sad The staff are very nice but wow the rooms are depressing The sheets sad The layout sad I couldn’t wait to leave The restaurant was pretty bad Do not order the crispy chicken sandwich- terrible There is no housekeeping except after 3 days This is possibly the saddest hotel I have ever stayed at

When I arrived at the Marriott around 8:00 p.m. on 8/10/24, I was told that the hotel was sold out and my reserved room given away! The counter then called the Autograph EMC2 hotel 1/2 block away and sent us there. That was all well and good, except I was charged $70 more - from $446 for the Marriott to $516 for the Autograph! Btw, the Autograph hotel was nice, if you like living in a cave.
