Comfort Inn at the Park in Fort Mill, SC

I've got to say... I had an extremely quiet, cozy, and relaxing week at Comfort Inn. My room has to be the cleanest I've ever been too. Bed and pillows comfy. Breakfast was great... Choice of muffins, strawberry pastry (idk much other about it besides being delicious!) biscuits, eggs, bacon, sausage, make your own waffles, cereal, mik, orange and apple juice. Convenience stores and Wendy's right next door. Everything was nice.

This is my second stay. However this stayI didn't receive any refreshing of my room, I only use wash/ towel twice at home so when I travel I stick to my same habits, I didn't receive any type of room service, trash, coffee, bed tidy up. When returning back to room I had to call and report no one serviced my room. The front desk ask me to come pick up towel/ wash cloth and I did. So now my bathroom floor is full of those used items. The breakfast were old burnt link sausage on Thursday/Friday, staff put patron that were eating breakfast with lights turned off. Now Saturday/Sunday breakfast staff were awesome, they informed the patron of clothing and ask if we were all good before taking item up and out. I wish I would have had more tip money for them. Thanks to the weekend breakfast staff, great job!!!!!

Room was clean,beds were cozy very fluffy pillows,great location,great restaurants within walking distance, lots of parking space, Cabela's next door,Carrowinds amusement park adjacent to hotel,large breakfast area,pet friendly

It actually pains me to write this review. My wife and I have enjoyed staying at this location quite a few times over the years, but I think this time will be our last. The property is just not being maintained or updated, it is still the same as when we first stayed here years ago but it very much shows the wear and tear of the years. The walls in the common areas all show scrape marks from the luggage carts, the only working ice machine was on the first floor and the ice machines on the second and third floors were there but not functioning. It may seem minor, but the elevator call button didn’t light when pressed and one couldn’t tell if the button press worked. The remote control for our television didn’t work with the batteries taped in with Scotch tape. The front desk advised me that they didn’t have any replacements, and they couldn’t get a working one from another room because all the rooms have different televisions. I had to keep getting up to change channels and volume by using the buttons on the side of the set. The floor lamp’s switch was missing the knob, and I had to crawl under a table to plug it in to turn it on and again to turn it off by pulling the plug. The front desk attendant was clearly uninterested at check in and when I returned with the broken remote, she was even more uninterested. A shrug wasn’t what I wanted to see. At breakfast, the waffle batter ran out and the yogurt didn’t last either. The rate I paid for the stay certainly did not reflect the sub-standard conditions not to be expected of a Comfort Inn. I suspect this will not be part of that chain much longer.

Very clean and friendly everyone very helpful if you need anything great area rooms clean I would recommend this place to any one there's restaurants and carowinds thene park rite across the street great area for all kinds of things to see and do shops to go shopping for everyone
