This South Beach Miami hotel features 2 outdoor pools and 2 restaurants. The Catalina Hotel & Beach Club features a free evening happy hour each night, (daily signature cocktail only) and Maxine’s Bistro and Bar offers casual dining all day and night. Guests can relax by the rooftop pool or by the bamboo pool which is surrounded by tall, lush bamboo trees.

The modern rooms at Catalina Hotel & Beach Club are uniquely decorated and have hardwood floors. A mini-bar and CD player are provided. Free WiFi is provided throughout.

The hotel is a 6-minute walk from the Miami Beach Convention Center and a 10-minute walk from the Botanical Gardens. Lincoln Road Mall is a 5 minutes' walk away along with numerous art galleries and restaurants.

Pet policy:
Pets are allowed up to a maximum weight of 25 lbs. Guests traveling with a pet will be charged an additional $250 deposit at check-in which will be refunded at check-out time as long as no damage is incurred. Pet must be accompanied and leashed at all times. Service dogs are free to stay

Parking: Valet parking service is available via a third party for $42.80 per day plus taxes. There is a public parking garage located nearby at 640 17th St, Miami Beach. Parking is a challenge due to popularity of South Beach, Miami. Most places are within walking distance and Uber or Lyft are a popular choice for longer trips.

Resort fee: Resort fees are common in Miami Beach. Catalina Hotel & Beach Club charges a mandatory $30 plus tax nightly resort fee. It includes amenities such as free WiFi, complimentary use of beach towels, use of the pool, free happy hour as listed on site under the Amenities section. Do not stay at this hotel. The rooms are gross and the service is terrible. There's no bath mat, no tissues, dirty toilets and I had to call down to get more towels each day I stayed and then the people who brought the towels would not stop asking if I could leave a review. Why would I leave a review for doing something that should have already been done? Also one night when I tried calling the front desk, I called 4 times and no-one picked up. Once I got home I realized I had an additional charge on my card. When I called, they said it was from the mini-bar. I didn't have anything from the mini-bar and the manager hasn't called me back and the staff is incredibly rude.

Hey y’all if you want to go to Miami Beach and want to stay in a nice hotel plus affordable price and great location then this is the spot. This is a 100% recommended hotel also its staff is amazing (specially Jefferson, he is very attentive). They have to work a little bit on the rooms but for the price we pay is fine.

Was expecting to stay in the hotel itself but was upstairs on the 3rd floor of the restaurant next door,so you had to walk through people dining inside and outside,room was OK but bed was stained and too much glass furniture,not good if you had kids. Mini fridge was on the floor,odd place,no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.Hallway needed a make over,new carpets and paint would be good.

Basically…..this is a $500 a night dump. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here. Terrible place! Music blasting with loud bass thumping that made our room shake. Couldn’t sleep. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Also, the room was dirty, TV sucked and there was no tissue in the room. Never again.

We stayed at Suite room in 2nd floor and the music from the 1st floor restaurant was so noisy and stamping our floor. It was impossible to sleep and can’t relax at all. We talked to the front desk and they just said we will lower the volume after 12 am. This place is not for us and we never comeback again.
