"Wonderful staff"

We had a wonderful experience with the staff here. Special shoutout to Yedidah, Cathy, Tiffany, April, Devoni and the rest of the team. They were extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The ladies made sure to check up on me regularly and went above and beyond when I needed support. I was in the service industry for over 20+years so I can recognize, appreciate and value when I receive such great hospitality. Keep up the amazing job as it is not an easy task to deal with the many challenges that they have to face on a daily. If you get an opportunity to stay at The Canopy, just remember that these ladies are doing their best to make sure that their guests are taken care of. Practice a little bit of patience, understanding and show them some kindness. It goes a long way.

I highly recommend your hotel. Its was my second time in your hotel, and the service and staff was excellent. The room was very clean and cozy. The location is perfect! "Fine property–staff isn't great"

I suppose if you stay here and never have to resolve an issue with the staff, it could be nice. The rooms are comfortable and well decorated, the lobby is pretty, and hotel is well situated in center city– nice. We used the valet and I asked if they offered EV chargers and if the attendant could plug in my EV. He said he could and I asked a few follo- up questions just to make sure that my car would be charged in the morning and I was told not worry– my car would plugged in for the night and ready to go in the morning. The next morning I go to get my car and it's not charged at all. Now, I had to pay $40 to go to a parking lot next to the hotel and delay my day by 3 hours to charge my car. I could have done this the night before–but I was reassured by valet that I would be taken care of! Now I'm out of $60 for valet, 3 hours, and an additional $40 to park in the lot for 3 hours next to the hotel. I could have been charged up, $60 richer, and ready to go if I had the correct information the night before. I call the hotel to try and remedy the situation and I was rudely told by the person who answered the phone that they do not offer EV charging– my call then went over to Mike. Mike explained to me that they can only park my car in front of a charger, but not charge it since I need to be present with the 3rd party app. I mentioned that this was not the response I got yesterday and that I even asked multiple follow-up questions to the attendant to confirm that there were no extra steps Mike then asks if I can call him back while he checks with an account manager–Andrea. OK, never heard of the guest being asked to call back, whatever. I call back in an hour and nobody can help me. My simple request was to have the valet refunded since I was told it included a service that it did not. Unfortunately, the staff here soured the experience– in general there was a lack of common knowledge around hotel amenities and lack of customer service skills. Plenty of other hotels in center city have nice rooms with better staff– I'd consider those next first.

"A pleasant stay in a convenient location"

We had a very please stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean. It has a pleasant bar in the lobby with a decent snack menu. The only drawback was an overly load air handler in the room. The valet parking was a great perk and was fast, we booked the stay and park package which made the cost of parking reasonably, otherwise it was close to $60 a day.

"A Homecoming!!!"

The canopy is by far one of the the best hotel stays ever. The appearance was very clean no homeless people walking through. Safety and security was 100, my room #607 clean no dust corners no stains. I was very pleased with this stay. I would grade the canopy a 5 star hotel!!! I will be staying with you again.
