Really a nice place to stay at overall. We found it easy to maneuver around the area to go to different parks restaurants events. The rooms are older although the construction makes it quieter. You don’t hear your neighbors. The management staff here and the team members addressed problems and concerns immediately. Great group of people. Made our stay really enjoyable. Rooms are comfortable overall a great value.

"Horrible we were sad that we had booked 2 weeks..."

I don't know what people were writing about. The 1 bedroom suite was SO small - we had to store food in the bathroom as there was NO cupboard space in the kitchen - the kitchen and bathroom was 1 person at a time - NO space at all. They did have some activities but they were costly - a hamburger for $3 and the combo was $5 which was a small bag of chips and a canned pop - really couldn't cost them more than $2 for a combo - so they are making money off of you. The hot dog combo was $4 - and many places we have stayed that has been complimentary once a week. The activities same - expensive for what you were getting. The bed was okay - the pillows horrible. We had to turn on the hot water 15 minutes before a shower to get hot water - we called 3 times - that was the answer we got. They did visit - we gave up... We saw cockroaches every day - perhaps they were overdue on the spraying. We had cockroaches all over the kitchen including the fridge - so gross. Our dishwasher broke and was replaced that same day. Towel exchange was a nightmare. We had to ask three times for our pool towels to be returned... We just asked for new sheets after our first week - we changed them ourselves but had to ask for new pillow covers? wow - if I'm changing my sheets I need new pillow cases too. The pillows were the worst I have experienced anywhere - flat or lumpy - not much of a choice. The pools were clean and you could always find a spot - appreciated that no one seemed to hog the chairs. We would never stay here again - and we aren't fussy people... The staff were also unremarkable and didn't find anyone who was friendly.

We lucked out with a one bedroom with a washer and dryer. We loved the fact we had a kitchen and could make breakfast and coffee every morning. Separate living room and bedroom is nice when one of us can’t sleep haha! My only complaint was the cleaning. Im a house cleaner and picky but when my bf says something before I notice? Yeah it’s dirty. The floors had not been vacuumed or mopped at all. The bathroom had someone’s hair stuck to the tub and wall. I called front desk and they had them redone while we were at a Disney park the next day. I would definitely stay here again

This is our first time at this resort and we were pleasantly surprised. Check-in was flawless. Everyone was super friendly. Our unit, very clean and appliances like new. It is in the middle of everything you could wish for. Traffic though, once you go to the main road (close by) is horrendous. Driving 2 miles can take up to 20 minutes. All in all, it was a very enjoyable week.

"Needs a lot of work"

First of all, the staff here are wonderful. They are helpful and responsive but there’s only so much they can do. The rooms are so outdated and the buildings need work. Our first room smelled like smoke. But more importantly, we couldn’t control our own room temperature. Apparently many of the rooms run on an automatic system that turns on the A.C. or hear based on outdoor temperature. It was cold for us but we were unable to heat our room - dangerous since we had an infant with us. The hotel staff very kindly moved us to a deluxe room where we could control our temperature but this info really needed to be disclosed BEFORE we booked and definitely before we arrived. The room we were moved to, unfortunately, had a massive water leakage problem. Water was pouring in from the ceiling the morning after we moved in. We were moved to another room in the same building - and that room was leaking too. So likely a building issue and based on the musty smell of the room, it’s probably been a long term issue. If you’re counting, we had to try four rooms. And the fourth room didn’t leak - yay - but like all the previous rooms, had horrible dirty and stained carpets, and smelled musty. My kids’ feet were black after walking around barefoot for ten minutes. This place desperately needs a massive remodel. I would never stay here again. Which is too bad because, like I said, the staff is great, the pools were great (nicely heated and very clean), and the location was convenient to Disney and Universal.
