The Pillows were fluffy the Bed was comfy. It was everything I could hope for. The shower was spectacular and did its job times 100. The Best Western Plus Sunset Plaza was the Greatest stay in all my Life. I would definitely recommend staying here if you Love the Sunset Strip and plan on spending most of your time on it.

I’ve stayed here before. It is a hotel that hasn’t changed much, designed intentionally to suggest old established. It is well placed, comfortable, quiet, and although expensive, it is a good option compared to the astronomical prices charged by other hotels close by. Breakfast could be healthier. Parking has to be paid for, too ( $29per night) The cleanliness is exemplary, and the cleaning work their socks off. We had a mix up on check in (my fault), and the staff showed great professionalism. They upgraded us to a balcony suite, ( full price $429 +tax+parking…see my photos and decide yourself if it’s worth it for you ) for the price of the room we booked, and gave us a discounted rate for our second night. The room was big, with spectacular views of the city at night. They treated us well. Downside? The rooms are depressingly brown, brown and more brown……why not give guests colour?

My family and I stayed at this hotel for over a month because a family member was hospitalized for over a month. It was a good distance from Cedar Sinai with not a lot of traffic getting to and from. It's also very central to everything (10-20 min.) from Beverly, Santa Monica, Hollywood Walk of Fame and more. Safe, with it being on a busy street (Sunset Blvd.) with the Comedy Store right across the street. The decor is super cozy. What made this hotel so much like home on top of all it had to offer, were the staff. They were completely empathetic, great listeners and became well acquainted with my family in the most difficult period of our lives. Each one of them; Niki, Billy, Alberto, Reggie and Carlos each provided a different form of love and attentive care to our needs and made coming back every day from the hospital comforting. They were all sincere too and their hospitality is something we'll never forget and keep in our hearts. Would definitely come back.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, it was very clean and quiet with a very relaxing atmosphere and a beautiful pool area that really helped on the unwinding days. The staff here was so friendly and accommodating and housekeeping did an amazing job on our room. I highly recommend ordering room service from the Saddle Ranch (or going in as it is right across the street) - delicious food and HUGE portions! This was our first time staying in Hollywood, certainly not our last and definitely not our last time at the Best Western Plus Sunset Plaza Hotel. Thank you to all the staff members for your hard work and efforts!

My wife had planned on spending a couple of days in LA post cruise and we chose the Best Western Plus Sunset Plaza Hotel as our base. Unfortunately our plans were changed by the airline as our original flight was cancelled and moved up a day. We thought that we would lose money by having to cancel a night stay, but the gentleman at the desk told us it would be no problem and changed our reservation. Our room on the third floor was well appointed and roomy. My only complaint would be to get to it you have to climb a short staircase and then descend immediately. it is only a problem when your suitcase weighs a ton. The breakfast is fairly standard fare. Waffle maker, a hot meat (sausage rounds the morning we were there) and an warm egg product (it was an inedible egg puck on our morning). I think it changes every day, so your hot menu might be different. All in all, the hotel was good. One word of advice, the hotel does not have a driveway. Just curb side drop off. So if you are taking an Uber or cab, have them come from the west side. Otherwise they will have to do a u-turn in the middle of Sunset Blvd to pull up to the curb. Not optimal. Also the Uber pick-up is in the next hotels driveway, 50 yds to the east.
