"Great value for money "

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 week stay here. The location is excellent, easy to find and near to many shops and restaurants. There are beautiful tropical gardens surrounding the two pools. The excellent breakfast is in the garden near the larger pool, this is a great bonus and makes this hotel probably the best value in Naples! The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. As other people have said the rooms are a little tired but not a problem for us.

"Do NOT stay here!"

Possibly the most disengaged, charmless guy checked us in. No welcome or enjoy your stay going to waste from his lips. We’d paid extra for a suite as the photos online looked lovely. Don’t be fooled by photos, our suite was nothing like them and was absolutely filthy. Dirty, ripped carpets, ripped, tired furniture and a dirty, mouldy bathroom. We rang the front desk to ask to be moved and got through to Mr Charmless himself. When I mentioned the dirty carpets he announced that all suites had carpets. I told him that we weren’t adverse to carpets as long as they were clean. When I was talking to him I noticed that the room telephone was also filthy and sticky. He said he’d move us to another room and someone would bring a key. No apology whatsoever. When the guy arrived with the key, I wanted to show him why we’d complained but either he couldn’t understand or couldn’t care. The second room wasn’t much better but at least the carpet looked like it had been hoovered. We’ve stayed in a wide range of accommodation across America and previously Best Westerns but this place is the absolute worst. Thankfully it’s just for one night. We’ve noticed that all comments are answered, promising feedback to staff and learning to take forward. This is obviously just some utter rubbish spouted by someone who doesn’t actually give a stuff.

"More like a motel. Unfortunately, would not go back."

This is more of a MOTEL, not a hotel. There are only 2 floors. Our car was parked right in front of our room like a motel. The top floor rooms have a balcony; the bottom floor rooms have a walk-out patio. There is no desk in the room, barely any towels, and the sleeping pillows were half the length of a normal sized pillow; very small. They did bring another pillow that was standard size. The only good things were the hot tub and pool area. The hotel was also very quiet. Another positive was that we could walk out the back door of our room into the pool area and had some nice breakfasts by the pool.

"Nice when the weather is good."

Room: no table, no chair - breakfast only outdoors or you bring it in the hotelroom. We had temperatures around 5-10 °C outdoors and had to sit on the outdoorchairs with mini Table in the room. A hotel to use when the weather is nice. Coffee was also very thin. No price reduction because of the troubles with breakfast.

"Great location, updated rooms, lovely landscaping"

We've stayed at this Best Western several times now. It's a great location, near shopping, near restaurants, nice neighborhood, less than two miles to Lowdermilk Park - my favorite area beach. There are two primary buildings, each two stories tall, with outside entrance to the rooms. Plenty of free parking. There is also another building on the property that has larger units (apartment-like). The staff is friendly, and the property is well cared for. There are pros and cons which I will share. The rooms have been remodeled since my last visit a couple years ago. Each second floor room has a balcony with two chairs and small table, overlooking the tropical courtyard/pool area. Wonderful feature. The first floor rooms also have an outdoor lanai sitting area. It is ground level, so not as private. Our room was nice but was sparsely furnished. There are small side tables on each side of the bed, a small "dresser" that holds the flat screen TV, and the small refrigerator. No microwave but one is available where breakfast is prepared. There is one chair and one luggage rack. A small cubby to hang clothes. No desk, no table to put one's "stuff". It would be fine for an overnight, but for us, this was our week long vacation. The only chair was used as a luggage rack. I almost set up the ironing board to use as a surface to put things on. There is a coffee maker in the room, which we never used, as well as an ironing board and iron, and blow drying. There were not enough outlets either. With the need for charging devices, and no desk or table, I was setting my phone on the floor near the accessible outlet. The bathroom was updated, but I found the layout quirky. When you walk into your hotel room, you walk directly into the sink/vanity area of the bathroom. The sink/vanity are in the open. The toilet and shower area does have a door for privacy. The bed was firm and comfortable. We had to ask for more towels almost daily. Soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided. Our room was cleaned daily. Breakfast is al fresco, near the pool (pool nearest the office). It was nice sitting near the koi ponds and enjoying the sounds of the garden waterfalls. I'm not sure where one would eat if it were raining. The food offered is pretty typical: scrambled eggs daily, hard boiled eggs, sausage patties, links or bacon, 2 waffle makers, yogurt, mini muffins, regular bread, either bagels or English muffins, package instant oatmeal, 2 or 3 cereal choices, apples, oranges, bananas, variety of juices, tea, coffee, milk. The staff did a great job keeping things supplied and the area clean. The food was fine. Considering the cost of eating breakfast in a restaurant, this was a great amenity to have. There are two pools on the premises and two hot tubs. Unfortunately, the pools are not heated. This will likely impact our future decision in coming here again. The water was too cold to go in. We didn't see anyone using the pools. We would have enjoyed being in them every day of our vacation if they were heated. The heat in one of the hot tubs was not working. We did enjoy the other hot tub. Towels are available poolside. As well as lounge chairs, and tables with umbrellas. It's a beautiful setting among the palm trees. There are bikes to rent on the premises. They are locked up, and by downloading the app, it is easy to rent them. If I recall correctly, it is $10 an hour. The neighborhood behind the hotel is residential (beautiful, expensive homes) and quiet. It is a nice area to ride around. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to Lowdermilk Park beach as well as beach chairs to borrow. They make the short round trip at 9am, noon, and 3pm. The times didn't work out for us, so we drove to the beach. The parking there is $5 per hour. During the time we were there, we had no problem parking. I know it can get quite busy at certain times. The hotel shuttle is a nice offering. The plusses for us are the beautiful grounds, the location, the price, breakfast, bikes, beach chairs, hot tub (if it works), room balcony, clean, updated rooms. The cons are unheated pool, minimal room furniture, quirky bathroom layout, not enough outlets. I wanted to give it a higher rating, but the unheated pool is a big disappointment for my vacation spot.
