Beach Cove Resort in North Myrtle Beach, SC

We stayed in Room 1203. The room was nice. Too many mirrors, it made my special needs daughter think someone else (stranger) was in the condo when she would come into the dining room. The condo was nice, although the opening to the kitchen was not handicapped accessible. The opening to the kitchen was very small even for a small person. We had to lift my rollator over the counter for me to get in the kitchen. We had a TV issue in the 2nd bedroom. It would come on but it didn’t have cable. My husband called and Roy came up, he was unable to fix it. He left and then came back up with John and I think Billy. They removed the TV and took it to their maintenance area and checked to see if the TV was broken or if it was the HDMI cable. They soon came back and told us it was a faulty HDMI cable. My daughter was so happy she could watch TV. We were really appreciative of all the effort the maintenance crew made to fix the TV. Also, a big shout out to Alisha at the front desk. She helped us with explaining where things were, deliveries of groceries, fast food and just overall niceness. Another shout is to the new maintenance man back in September. We had a little accident with our van on your property. It was in the side lot with the steep incline. I have a ramp and wheelchair on the back of my van. When we exited the side parking lot going up the incline the wires scrubbed the pavement and ripped in two. We had no connection to power down the lift ramp to get it off. So, the maintenance man supplied us with duck tape so my husband could splice the wires to get it working until the next morning. My husband needed to have electrical tape to keep the rain out so the rain wouldn’t shorten the ramp wires from not working. The handicap access to the pool was scary. It’s not the best lighting at night and hidden way back in corner. The beach access is non existent for handicapped. You have to go down to the next block. Using a wheelchair is not conducive to sand. I would also recommend that you provide a TV guide of the channels. We couldn’t find anything. We also were blocked by the resort or Condo owner to be able to stream our favorite apps which was frustrating. After all the craziness we had a fun time.

The Room Was Very Clean And Pleasant. The Staff Was Friendly, Kind And Courteous. The Parking Was Convenient. The Elevator Was Accurate. Overall I Enjoyed Mu Stay At Beach Cove Resort. Definitely Will Tell Others To Stay. The Pools Are Clean The Bar Was Warming To Watch Football Are Play Games.

I had a problem with the deadlock locking. My savior, Roy, came and got it fixed. Took him a couple trips downstairs and back but he fixed it. He was very professional and determined to get it fixed. I feel very safe staying at Beach Cove. Never had a bad stay. Everyone here is very friendly and pleasant to work with.

We had a wonderful stay the Beach Cove Resort on December 3-5. Comfy rooms, great water view and the hot tub was 105 degrees. Roy and Jason from maintenance were great when we needed some help. Many Thanks to them!! We will return for more vacation time in summer.
