For it to be a 3 star hotel it was not bad. I stayed here due to a navy graduation and it wasn’t far from the base of Great Lakes Navy. It was comfortable for our travel/commute to and from to be with our sailor for our duration of stay. And there are restaurants and a shopping mall in proximity.

We LOVED the one bedroom, separate space from the living area so our family with teens could spread out. The desk staff, housekeeping, and the breakfast crew did a fantastic job, working hard over a holiday weekend to keep things running well. We felt pampered despite our tight budget. Thank you Baymont personel!

We stayed for 3 nights. Our room was “cleaned” once during our stay. The “cleaning” was just emptying the trash can and giving us a few more towels. Nothing else was touched. Also, Towels shouldn’t be a hot commodity. We had to take our used dirty towels downstairs to get fresh towels. We turned in 4 dirty towels to get only 3 clean towels back. Towels and sheets were stained and dirty. The furniture was very old. Our fridge wouldn’t close and seal. This is the reason our food wouldn’t stay cold and the food we bought went bad. The indoor pool was full of dirt and debris like hair ties (no one was ever in the pool so I’m not sure how it was so dirty) We will never stay here again. Staff did not care one lick about their jobs.

When arriving, we noticed the elevator was broken. So, we asked for a room on the main floor, and we got it. When we walked into the room it smelled musty, like an old basement. We noticed that the upkeep of the room was in poor condition. The paint was falling off the walls, the emergency map on the door was covered in dirt, and we found ants and stray hairs on more than one surface. Our television has a burned in screen, and we could see the 'homepage' on every channel. Also, the volume wasn't working properly. A few of us took showers, and there wasn't any shampoo, so we had to ask for that. When showering the water would get cold no matter how far we turned up the water, then a few minutes later it would come back extremely hot. This happened to every shower we took. The pool was not featured as a salt water pool, which was odd, and the water has an oily film in it, a long with hairs all over the place. There was a leak from the ceiling just dripping on the floor. They did not tell us the hot tub was out of service, and that was disappointing. Both beds had 3 pillows each, which is weird considering it's a queen bed, so typically two people will be in the bed, so we didn't know why there wasn't 4 on each bed. Overall, for the price of the hotel stay it was not worth the money. Between the funky smell and the cleanliness of it, I would rank this hotel on the low end. The only good thing about it was that it was close to Six Flags.
