"Excellent hotel choice"

The suite was fabulous. We LOVED it so much we added an extra night. Already going to book our next getaway next month for the same room. Once we got there we saw two deer outside our window. The fireplace and hot tub in the bedroom was perfect. Having a separate living room was icing on the cake so I could key my husband sleep in and I enjoyed the TV and relaxed out there.

We asked for early check in at 11:15 am was told “no check in any earlier than 3 pm returned at 3:10 and was given early check in and charged $25 first person should have said any earlier than 4 is $25 charge not cool at all won’t be back very displeased

"Great room with a balcony overlooking the forest behind the hotel."

We had a great room overlooking the forest with a private balcony. however, BEWARE-if you think you left something in the room, get with then immediately and press the point. I was told they did not find the missing wallet in the room. However, credit cards were used yet that day and the next. If not for this, I would give them my highest rating.

The hotel honored my request for a quiet room away from noisy neighbors and machines. We slept very well, having enjoyed the pool earlier in the evening. The facility has made efforts to remodel recently. Everything we saw was very clean. We found the room rather dark, possibly as an energy efficiency effort. Breakfast was adequate with pancakes, waffles, and a few other hot choices. Surprisingly, they have a bar available, supplied with a few canned cocktails, beer, and some wines, but all the wines were a bit dry for my taste. So not a full scale bar with an official bartender, but some alcoholic beverages available without having to leave the premises. 3-4 chain restaurants available within 1 mile. While on highway 13, the hotel is set back from the road, which helps tremendously with road noise. Would stay again. Not sure how it is in peak season, but great in November.

"Ok minus the fire alarm"

The room was nice enough but bed pillows were not the best. We had a fire alarm at 4am and had to leave the building. Never did see a fire truck. Smoke smell was awful. Gave me a headache, as I have trouble sleeping anyway. We had a hot tub in our room which was very nice and cozy.
