Alamo Inn and Suites in Anaheim, CA

This hotel is an excellent value! Less than a 30 minute walk to the Disneyland park gates. Rooms are spacious with fridges, microwaves and coffee makers. Onsite pool and laundry are a bonus. The staff were very cheerful, helpful and accommodating.

The hotel staff were most awesome! From the minute we checked in, to the moment we checked out, everything was absolutely perfect. We were very pleased with the Hideaway courtyard, and we could park very near to our room. We did not need housekeeping every day, but we do like to have clean towels every day, they were very accommodating for us. Check in and check out was awesome. Very quiet for being right on a main street, and well within walking distance of the Disney parks.

We were looking for a hotel near Disneyland, but they were all so expensive we decided to give Alamo a shot which had a good rate for a 10 day stay. Reviews on TripAdvisor were good, so we thought why not? And now I don't even know where to start! Let me just say the staff is one of the highlights of this place. I sent them countless emails with a bunch of questions before my check-in date and the staff always replied to me swift and cordially, and kept this treatment from the start of our stay til end! On arrival, I cannot described how surprised we were with how cozy and homey this hotel feels. The gardens and the trees are so inviting and the parking lot is so clean it seems a little Disneyland rubbed off on the hotel. We booked a king bedroom and we got one on the third floor and it had the essential for us: very clean and a good bed, everything else was a bonus. It was VERY spacious, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom had good space too, very different from so many hotels we had stayed with mini bathrooms. No view to the park sadly, but that's ok, the view to the hotel parking whenever we left the room for the park made up for it! And the star of the stay: Location. 15 mins walk to Downtown Disney. Being so close to Disneyland made our stay as magical as being in the parks, the street is so nice too, with all light-up trees at night, made return from the parks a nice stroll. I cannot express enough how much we loved staying at Alamo Inn, I'm afraid I might be selling it too high for everyone, but seriously, I can't recommend this hotel enough. Good price, amazing location and all the essentials for a good stay can be found here. My only complaint would be the parking lot spaces, sometimes we had to park on a spot not meant to be a space, but that's understandable given the size of the hotel, so I let it pass. We can't wait to go back and when we do, we are certainly going to stay in Alamo Inn again!

To say that I'm the #1 fan of Alamo Inn & Suites is not an exaggeration. Just ask anyone that works here. I love them and believe it's the best motel for any Disney vacation. Let's hit all of the highlights. The place is adorable, with a variety of rooms and suites to fit any family, solo traveler or budget. The beds are clean and comfortable, the grounds beautiful with lots of flowers and wildlife, parking is free, the staff are delightful - all of this within a hop, skip and jump from Disneyland. Literally!! No bus or tram needed. Just hop, skip and jump your way up the street to the happiest place on earth. My favorite rooms have little patios where you can drink wine, play with the hummingbirds and watch the sunset. As pricing goes, the Alamo is super budget friendly. Ask about their secret codes to get even greater savings. Oh yes, they also have a nice pool and hot tub. You can't beat it!! I can't say enough nice things about the Alamo except it's my favorite stay while in SoCal. But please don't take all of the rooms. Leave one with a patio for me.

Very comfortable room. Had everything we needed. 10 mins walk to Disney. Food available around the hotel. Buses close by. Safe area. Has a pool, washer/dryer. Lifts. Vending machine for drinks, snacks etc. staff were fantastic. Organised a mobility scooter for me. Lots of maps information available. Staff always friendly and cheerful. I recommend for a stay at Disney. It’s not flash or fancy but clean and friendly. No noise.
