This hotel is decent and I would rate it as a 3 star hotel. If I were to go back to Miami Beach I would seek out another hotel. The good: It’s close to the beach, the $25 daily resort fee included bikes, chaise lounges and towels on the beach, and a free cocktail. The rooms were adequate in size but somewhat bland looking. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. Rooms have a lock box. I didn’t visit the bar in the lobby but it looked nice and it had a pool table. The staff were pleasant although there were times when they could’ve used a third front desk person. The not so good: the lobby smelled from cleaning products, there is no dresser and only 1 small drawer. The closet is just a short rod in the open area, the bathroom could use a shelf as there is little space for toiletries. The bathroom sink was very shallow so water splashes out onto your clothes, There is a $25/day resort fee (note to all hotels: just raise the cost of the room to include the fee). Most importantly, there are not enough chaise lounges or chairs at the rooftop pool. The rooftop pool area has far too many “cabanas” for rent ($75/Day!) that take up the majority of the space on the rooftop deck. It’s as if they purposely don’t have enough chaise lounges to force you to rent a cabana. Many of the mixed drinks at the pool bar were pre-made and bad tasting (don’t order a margarita!). When we ordered food at the pool bar the bartender had to go down to the lobby to pick up the food. The bartender was busy, so we waited a long time to get our food. While he was downstairs picking up our food, a line formed at the bar. The in-room coffee was terrible. For the price you might do better elsewhere.

Pete was super helpful and friendly. He set us up with a great spot on the beach. It was a beautiful sunny day in late February, and the competition for space was fierce. We had to pass several other spots before we found someone who helped us. Thanks, Pete!

Great hotel. Greeted by friendly staff. Room was ready when we arrived at 3:00 p.m. we didn't mind the free cocktail at the pool either :-). Beach is close by. Nice little private area for AC. Pete was awesome taking care of us everyday. Recommend.

Me and my girls left the cold, freezing weather up north seeking the warm sunshine of Miami. Thanks to Pete and Jackie of Boucher Brothers we had a marvelous experience. They were friendly, professional and accomodating. Just great guys overall. They also gave us great restaurant options. Look for these guys when staying at AC Miami Beach. You won't be disappointed!
